DK have an abysmal winrate this patch, why do teams still insist on picking him?

@Azarkon, do you remember what happened the last time LGD.int had a success?
They got figured out. It's nice to see them getting out of the slump, but they haven't achieved much yet and if their lineup includes Wisp it doesn't by default mean it's a Western style strat.

I think this game was more about Razor, Naix and NP, though SK+Wisp were definetely the highlight.

that makes no sense

Well, Naix is still OP. NP is the deciding factor in the early-game skirmishes, and Razor is good for surviving agressive trilanes and has an upper hand over Alchemist later.
I think their strategy is to dumpster bad Western teams (c) uriel

They got trashed hard.

I don't think so... They did great in G-League on LAN and failed in G-1 qualifiers, which was online.

again this online-offline bullshit.
lgd.int played well on lan environments in g-league. its just they get their hands on wisp now and destroy everyone while they have fixed their pointless role switches (brax back on offlane, misery on 4th) and god isnt playing awefull anymore.
wisp however is the key factor in their wins because it lets them snowball incredible hard. lgd.ints problem never was the early game so Io fits perfectly.

Play great in 1 lan tournament is great but where is the consistency?
They barely even qualify to the playoff in DSL.

? they usually play really well offline, it's just that their form hasn't been as good and they haven't adapted to the patch as fast as other teams. also they've been playing vs some good opponents.

As you can see LGD.cn's performance in Alienware Cup and DSL.
It's just so obvious.

Whether they get figured out, it's still great to be playing your own style, instead of trying to play the style of others and being permanently behind. The former got LGD.int into the G-League finals. The latter never got a team to the top.

I enjoy the Void pick. I feel Void is, on a theorycraft level, one of the best late game carries vs. high mobility heroes due to the lock down he's able to do, and this makes him great vs. Wisp, Weaver, Puck, Slark, etc. etc. It's too bad his early game is so crap and he gets countered by Treant and VS.

Nice, a brood game where the other team doesn't have supports with good counterpush. Might actually work this time lol

I don't get the early Void pick at all. The hero is relatively easy to counter and he's not a hot pick, I don't know if LGD would've banned it.

Chuans lesbian sister, I haven't heard that before but I'm going to make sure it sticks.

How is this BM ahead Void in net worth, and why doesn't Pajkatt carry TP's, could TP out of these ganks easily.

not only this year. last year what did they achieve? winning ti2 because it was double elimination which chinese tournaments never use and later got crushed in the g1 lan finals (losing against orange, LOL), ig such a terrible team on lan. i would never bet my money on them!

ok to be serious again: the samplesize of lan / online tournaments is so small in the eastern scene that there is no way to make any forms of predictions based on them. everyone had its peaks and everyone had its downs. lgd.cn won g1 and got destroyed in g-league by IG but fought back and got second at g1.s2. although they got destroyed 3-0 by alliance.
IG won ti2, only played good in g1 online stage, demolished everyone in g-league just to get shit on in g1,s2 and DSL. DK got second in g1, did horrible in g-league and only medicore in g1.s2 but are now back on track with DSL.

there are no stable lan teams who are always top 3 in china except lgd.cn but they have a history of losing against lgd.int (i.e. g-league 2:1).

everyone wins and everyone loses
