They said in the announcement that all the heroes won't be in on release.
"Dota 2 will continue to move forward, just like it always has. We still have old (and eventually new) heroes to release and an endless supply of features to build. We are releasing the game now because it is ready, but of course there isn’t an end to the development of the game. "
I dont like DK drafting, they got surprised by the Lycan so much that they have no idea what to pick for Rotk. In the last seconds they still had no idea and had to settle back for the Wind.
