That was pretty damn awesome, lots of battles throughout and a crazy finisher. Navi versus Alliance should be entertaining as all hell.
Out of curiosity when Tongfu was ahead what should they have done to try and seal the win? Was it just a matter of always avoiding the hook like the early game? I mean it makes sense but " don't get hooked" isn't really a strategy.
For people who're more familiar with the teams and their styles will this sort of thing work well against how Alliance plays or are we likely to see something very different then?

because TF didn't capitalize on failed hooks. but sure, being in Na'vi's situation a 4v5 fight would have been SOOOOOOO favorable

People need to stop bitching about the fountain hook seriously, how about, before going "omg so stuuuupid" you try pulling that strat off, in a LAN (where the prize pool is fucking massive) against a professional DotA team, and win with it. Post vids then you can complain.

dont ban either hero you get what you deserve until this crap is nerfed. this is the new DOTA meta seriously, every pro player in the international can hit those fountain hooks they take SKILL to land but every team has that skill i believe.. i garuntee fountain hooks will be ALOT more common, until pro players catch on and ban chen every game. however likely this may happen very quickly because i garuntee tongfu will be banning one of those heroes every game from now on
Just...Just stop talking about a game you clearly know nothing about.
Bullshit like this has been happening for years in DotA.

Sounds like a win for NaVi to me.

That was awesome! What do people want?!?! If fountain hooks are abusable, why has no one abused it? It's such a low percentage, high risk and spectacular play, be entertained! Navi played smart and crazy, fan for life :D

Because the idiot has killed 6 guys with this abusive one shot bulls**t? He's mad. his right. This is a competitive game. This type of bullshit shouldnt be allowed, especially for a competitive game like Dota 2 hey guys let's ban out all unconventional hero combos because a few crybabies on TL don't like it! the hook and chen skill for 1 kill, dont you think that is abit unfair? No, it isn't really that good. It also takes the pudge out of the fight (remember towers are down later in game) and he is a mid hero. So you better trade for a carry. It's relatively low risk for extremely high reward. Pudge has no risk to die, and once towers are down later in the game any fountain hook attempts on Navis side had very very low risk since he doesn't have to go far or TP. On the other hand once it hits late game once you hit a hook you basically win. Can't fault them for using it but it's pretty broken (though admittedly hard to pull off). Low risk? If they miss they have to 4v5 till pudge comes back, TF was running instead of actually pushing the engage
what low risk ? have you been really watching the game? putting pudge on the lineup was already ballsy .. pudge goes nowhere against other competitive hero's .. and also pudge is a all or nothing hero .. if you dont get your hooks and kills you are practically worthless the entire game ..

It is low risk. If the hook misses, all you need to do is back off and avoid the fight. If they chase you to your towers, all you need to do is tp back. Low risk. High reward.

A game won on a high execution play, too godlike.

Anyone disagree? The only portion that annoys me is that the majority is like FUCK YEAH when Navi does what they just did but when DK and iG slug it out over 90 minutes its OMG HOW DARE THEY RUIN MY ENTERTAINMENT.

If it took tremendous skill to have an IWIN button would that be okay? I mean that's not what the pudge/chen combo is but just because it's fucking hard doesn't validate anything.
