BUT all in all, I have to say that this International has been just a pleasure to watch. Really glad I did get to catch all of these amazing moments. I really really didn't want alliance to win XD but they played amazingly well throughout the entire goddamn tournament and deserve it one hundred percent. Just jaw-droppers left right front and center, and it's really converted me. Fucking fantastic. I can't remember the last time I've been so excited. Cheers ![]()

I'm still fuming from that game. 3) Poor kyxy 4) I hope Burning doesn't retire, he can still do great things yet. 5) That was one of the best final games of any tournament I've ever watched 6) juff is a fucking boss for live reporting all the games. seriously, what a hero 7) China disband... or at least massive reshuffle. i expect a very interesting chinese scene for the next few months 8) Amazing production from the team. There are a lot of things they can improve about TI in general, but overall great job. 9) Thank god azarkon was banned for the main event. 10) Long live Dota 2! But something need to seriously change about the rules in the dota subforum, or it'll basically just be joinDota.

If you think that Navi throwed the game you need some more Dota 2 time

He has a wife and kid in Korea and he loves SC2(unless GOM makes him cast). TB isn't going anywhere though, he was just venting about the MLG thing and then found out the Redbull was doing a thing the same day.

This should be the wake up call the Chinese need for sure. I expect them and maybe the Koreans to be serious cotenders for TI4. Plus Alliance will surely slip a little after making $1.5m.

My take is that the chinese scene will be really quiet for a few months and we will get only small reshuffle and entire rosters being disbanded.

In this game, we saw Na'vi win lanes with some sick juking from XBOCT (and bad play from Alliance) and the individual prowess (as well as more laning-oriented heroes) of Dendi and Funn1k. Na'vi then proceeded to win several teamfights, farming up XBOCT in the process. Eventually they get a rosh and push mid but Alliance have the mental wherewithal to realize they can't defend and that the only way they can win is through splitpush, doing so in spectacular fashion. Intense, crazy, heartbreaking (at least for me), but most of all beautiful, this was just an all-around miraculous game. Both teams are amazing, just in different ways. Na'vi can fountain-hook their way to victory. Alliance can rat dota the way to theirs. Neither is more heinous or acceptable than the other. Both are effective. Please, just stop the whining and realize that you've enjoyed perhaps the best game and best tournament of Dota ever to exist.

TB would be great in Dota if he properly learns the game and doesn't just derp.

That tourney was exciting a f and to an outsider it seems like the most skilled/consistent team won. What else is there to say? DotA looks like a really good game right now. Yes and no. Dota looks like an incredible game right now no doubt but as a newcomer something like TL LGD was thousands of times more exciting than Alliance split push, and I'm new to the game. I guess that a League backgrounds does give me a bit more knowledge about tower pushing, map control, etc. but still. Consistent and highly strategic [A] might be but NaVi's, DK's, and iG's play seemed more skilled as far as players went. I saw some absolutely insane stuff from burning, dendi, ferrari, mushi, heck even Bulba. Now I know that it is a team game and that for the majority of the tournament alliance outdrafted everyone, but I never had the wow factor from Alliance outside the few Loda snipes even in the finals. And that does hurt the game to a degree. That said, I wont deny that when big plays are being made, and the threshold for those is imo much higher than in fcompetitive league or sc2, that DotA looks like the best game in the world.
