Huh? The final game was great but what was so special about the event itself? Definitely not the introduction nor winners cemeronies.
The production was better than the last 20 cheaply produced SC2 events combined. Get over it, deal with it. A new era has begun. TB and Artosis switching is only the beginning.
TB and Artosis are switching to Dota what?
TB definitely.
Tasteless or Artosis tweeted smth. similar. You gotta read between the lines.
TB might cast. Don't count on Artosis, like fucking ever. He has a wife and kid in Korea and he loves SC2(unless GOM makes him cast). TB isn't going anywhere though, he was just venting about the MLG thing and then found out the Redbull was doing a thing the same day.
Really ? TB going to Dota ? please no... he is just one of the worst SC2 casters...

Lol nice optertown. I agree with all of this. But who the hell is azarkon?
speaking of azarkon..his tier predictions were actually pretty spot on iirc...he had tongfu orange navi alliance all tier 1 no?
I don't remember that. I just remember him saying SEA DotA was weakest DotA.

I wouldn't exactly say CK was effective that game, Furion Wisp and Puck had more of an impact on the game than him imo

Chaos wasn't all that effective in that game. Wisp and NP on the other hand..

They weren't going to win that game straight up, so they improvised. People shouldn't feel sorry for Na`Vi, it's not like they got robbed and they sure as hell aren't going home empty handed. They've been the worlds favorite Dota 2 team for well over 2 years now, it's like that for a reason. Alliance played great all tournament and deserve nothing but the championship. Quit being so sad and angry about either team(s) and be happy for both and Esports in general, this was a great event.

Freaking sore losers, it was an amazing game, it came down to the wire and I couldn't be happier that's how it ended. There was no cheese or game breaking bugs etc, you're just sore losers. Won fair and square.
I'm Na'Vi fan and I am pretty fucking happy for Alliance. They deserved the win. Since we got the best finals that one could ask for the end result seems, at least to me, less important then ever before. I'm still not 100% convinced if this was just a dream but I guess even the best dreams aren't that good.
Anyway, I'm still happy. Aside from that the last game ended w/o a real fight, it was a great tournament. Really happy that Fnatic got as far as they went

Na'vi are the individually skilled, in-your-face, big play type team that likes to snowball out of control whereas Alliance are the cool, calculated split-push oriented juggernaut with perfect decision making.
In this game, we saw Na'vi win lanes with some sick juking from XBOCT (and bad play from Alliance) and the individual prowess (as well as more laning-oriented heroes) of Dendi and Funn1k. Na'vi then proceeded to win several teamfights, farming up XBOCT in the process. Eventually they get a rosh and push mid but Alliance have the mental wherewithal to realize they can't defend and that the only way they can win is through splitpush, doing so in spectacular fashion. Intense, crazy, heartbreaking (at least for me), but most of all beautiful, this was just an all-around miraculous game.
Both teams are amazing, just in different ways. Na'vi can fountain-hook their way to victory. Alliance can rat dota the way to theirs. Neither is more heinous or acceptable than the other. Both are effective. Please, just stop the whining and realize that you've enjoyed perhaps the best game and best tournament of Dota ever to exist.
Hear, Hear.
And big thanks to opterown and the people who live reported! excellent job.

2) was confirmed a bug, NaVi was not allowed to do it in the GF by Valve.
I agree with everything else besides 7), they did much better than people thought considering what ACTUALLY happened and what almost no one realized.

i believe he said alliance and navi top 2, orange china top 3-7 which isn't too far off the problem with him is that he makes his point in a really stupid and annoying way and he likes to gloat and rub it in when he's right

The awards ceremony was much more anticlimactic than the last GSL.
