I'm trusting in na'vi to make the finals entertaining. Kinda worried.

I mean how do they not see an issue with having a rematch of a series played and watched a matter of hours ago being the grand finals of what is supposed to be the most prestigious tournament.

Fixed that for you.
You would rather have a system where there is about a 50% chance the best 2 teams can't even meet in the final because they have been assigned to the same division?

The best teams would have to be the highest-seeded teams... You could get the seeds with round robin-style qualifiers

The two "best" teams don't always perform when necessary as evidenced by this very tournament

Conference and divisions rely heavily on a regular season play, not something Dota really has (not in the vain of the NFL or NBA anyway)

Yup but they merely need the opportunity - If they don't grasp it, that's not the organizer's fault.

Wut?
This year has easily been the worst international(games/hype/storyline ofc, production has been the best obv)

The only boring games have been when two Chinese teams face off against each other

And compared to last years the games have been so lackluster, so many stomps and a very weird meta

Yea think most of the "excitement" people are having is from not knowing the meta that well so they perceive "comebacks" when its really just one team auto winning after a certain point. Really don't like this meta.

Last year's meta was huge teamfights.

This year's meta is unkillable carries/rat dota.

At least it isn't early 2013 cancerlancer.

I'm very sure everyone who believes in rat dota for this version is fundamentally wrong.

I think Puppey understood it in the last series and will hopefully show it in the finals.

Specially considereing alliance ends half their matches before the 30 minutes mark.

It is still ratdota if you don't engage any fight for 10 minutes
Alliance are very good at recognizing whether or not they can take a fight though.

Yea think most of the "excitement" people are having is from not knowing the meta that well so they perceive "comebacks" when its really just one team auto winning after a certain point. Really don't like this meta. The majority of the games have been one sided stomps. Navi vs Alliance was incredibly one sided and boring. Only really fun games were the Chinese but that's mainly because they playing different meta.

hahahahahaa, what a hilariously douchebaggy thing to say. You're butthurt that your team is out, so you downplay the entire tournament. Well, fuck you man, I am enjoying myself, and I am happy that you're not. You don't deserve it.

Why can't we downvote this poster?

Doubt anyone is blaming him more than he is. Just terrible thing to happen.

So much money on the line... and theres such a good chance they could have ended with aegis. I hope to god his team doesnt blame him too much, its such a high stress scenario...
