People are complaining about a company investing into video games streaming and comparing it to a company that is completely dedicated to it. Also i'm pretty sure Twitch was a lot worse than Dailymotion whn it began streaming. There was 30k viewers this game and it was not as unwatchable as the few 'muricans wants to make it sound like. Otherwise there wouldnt be that many people actually watching it As I said above, the viewership dropped by 1/4 when the lagging started, and as this thread shows many that had horrendous lag still had the stream open.

This happens on twitch all the time. And they all drop 1/4 of their viewership when it happens. This is a silly discussion, you don't know how many people have issues with it or not. Or if they are actively trying to improve it or they will leave it like this.

but in this game navi had stuff like blind and viper ult to counter her dps, so you see visage and wards doing a lot of work

I would have also liked 1080p from them to show off and basically add something more than twitch, you know to get people to notice and they didn't provide that. Overall I got to say it was a mediocre showing by Dailymotion, they also lack some community based features like chat, lack some streaming options and the position of the buttons aren't the best. The games themselves were interesting, I got to say this new patch is really terrible in what it did with the jungle stuff, I think we are actually going to see a lot more 5 carry games, with two dedicated junglers and 3 solo lanes, afk farm for 15 minutes with good ward positioning and then come out and win. Na'vi really haven't been performing the best, but that is to be expected, they can't win every game and there has been a ton of games lately, possibly causing fatigue in the players.

It allowed Luna to get way too farmed, while Navi's 3 cores could not get big quickly enough. viper and ns are not late game carry heroes. especially with the build they went. their only chanc was splitpushing

(and before was 50/50) Twitch has been investing full time into streaming game services for 3+years.* Dailymotion is just now trying to grow past it's "youtube poor clone" status, but it's a real company, even backed a bit by our government (they refused to sell it to some big company a few months ago to keep it french, it was a shitstorm...) They are sponsoring tournaments, and probably adjusting from what they see. It's been what, 2 weeks ? Cut them some slack ! Millenium in SC2 did some cups there like a year ago, there was no real problem. Dota2 comes with a shitload more viewers. They probably don't have (yet) a lot of overseas servers (if they even have some). It should come eventually. If you really prefer a monopoly, yeah, just continue telling things like "piss off", "why the fuck use dailymotion", "go back on twitch" etc... I much prefer having a few companies operating streams, that way if twitch bankrupts or anything one day, we will still have something. I mean they needed completely lag free stream all the time and they failed. You can't seriously expect a *better* service worldwide with the same amount of viewers, for a company "breaking into the scene" ?? I mean, it's unreasonable ! If a company can do that this quickly, then why has twitch been struggling to provide that for years ? :-D
