Agreed, pushing strats are lame. I hope they show in game 2 that they are confident enough to face Speed in a straight late game battle.

The first time they weren't even in DK's base.
Obviously amazing play from lanm, but like any great RP, great Ravage, great Echo Slam. 50% of the work is done by your opponents.

I think in a way Icefrog has increased the Dire advantage for Rosh by making it random spawn. Previously, you knew the exact timing of Rosh spawn and you could organize a defense around it. But with the new changes Its much more easier for dire to keep popping in and out to scout it and then kill it as soon as it spawns. I think the 5 roshes made the biggest difference this game for DK.

I dont friggin care about the long pauses between teamfights, I dont care about the 85 minutes of ricing scattered with teamfights early on. All I know is the few fights we had later on were nothing short of epic. Buybacks, hexes, BKBs, refreshers, aegis, cheese, permabashes, forcestaffs, along with the melee of other spells and attacks. Simply, amazing.

arteezy played really well and then started falling off and so did pieliedie, couple that with terrible dooms and crazy 3-4 man echoes and you get this particular result, lots of things had to work in harmony for DK to get this one.

Pretty nice end game, but these long games are not good for the casual dota audience.

if singsing had done anything in that game before 70 minutes and mega creeps they would have easily won

But what I meant was They were already focusing the bear with hexes..Wouldn't it have been more beneficial to doom the Pugna who was just sucking the life out of everyone as soon as bkb ends

I don't even know anymore. Abyssal on doom + doom the es or pugna would've been way better, especially during the time span when OD was killing bear super fast. Watching dooms on bear over and over again and cm was depressing as fuck, though es was in good positions a lot so not dooming him wasn't that bad. He doomed the bear, and then watched it hit the towers to death anyways bot, and mid, and mid again, and then bot again.

Icefrog's attempt to lower game time is failing spectacularly so far.

Burning did amazingly well mid considering pld was harrassing him non-stop the first 2-3 minutes or so.
