Dendi seems to be the only one in navi who plays pretty well. Some bright moves left and right from other, but a terrible coordination overall. I may lose faith, things are looking really grim 2 weeks before TI4.

For some time now Na'Vi seems to be playing like they don't even care. Maybe they're trying to make the impression of being really weak before TI? Or maybe they're just burned out and need time to recover.

They never seem comfortable with their draft and how they play. Isn't Puppey known as the guy that gets in the other teams head, drafts weird shit and makes it work? It seems like he's just following the meta and never doing anything out of the ordinary. I haven't seem them do something new in a while. while teams like EG, C9, Alliance, Fnatic seem to do it all the time. I mean this is such a versatile patch where you can draft anything, but they seem to just be following other teams.

The psychological advantage you gain from publicly playing well is far more significant than pretending to be bad.

I dunno if it's just me, but it seems like they start off badly and then start playing better as the game progresses (except Hvost, he still seems to get out of position way too often) but usually the game is already too far gone.

On the other hand, if you did have some ideas how to play against drafts in the current meta, showing your hand too early could give other teams more time to figure out your new ideas.

Not that I think they are necessarily doing this, but it would be cool if teams were hiding some pocket strats so we see some interesting stuff come TI.

So has the pool of "OP" heroes grown so much that Mirana is no longer first-ban? Batrider, Lycan, Doom, Tinker, even Enigma and Tidehunter I see getting first-banned a lot now.

navi is failing with these pretty standard and usual lineups and it mostly comes down to just playing bad so i don't really see how hiding some pocket strats would explain their poor form

On one hand, wombo combo meta should favor navi team fight execution. On the other, not a lot of xboct carries or dendi mids in the meta.

I know Wisp and Treant are popular supports, but is Wisp + SF really a standard mix?

Edit: It feels to me like they haven't been putting much attention to creating space for Hvost, and his farm has definitely suffered from it. Like I said before I don't think he has been playing great either but still, their drafts or perhaps their lanes haven't seemed that standard to me.
