I've been pretty picky about when I pick em though, generally against a weak safelane like spec ill pick troll and grab a support to duo. The few times I do this with a void in my safelane its just too strong. You just hit ult whenever chrono goes up and the void can kill anyone that's not ogre | ||

What 400 AS barrier is this? Old barrier was 500 AS. New barriers are 600 AS, +500 AS or 500 IAS. edit: 500 IAS not 500% IAS | ||

i think this new 600 attack speed barrier is only ever applicable to wr/ursa/troll's team add a beastmaster to trolls team too maybe or bloodlust/alacrity/wisp tether when u talk about AS just do conversions into 1.7 bat coz thats how AS is defined 1.7 bat means if u had exactly 0 IAS and 0 agi it wud take u 1.7seconds to hit a guy basically every hero has 100 starting AS (with 0 agi) and every agi adds 1 AS dota2 is a bit weird coz it does bat conversion in attackspeed metric for u when u change bat from like range to melee (i dont think it shud do this) so ranged troll is gonna have 480 AS which is same as 380 IAS with fervor/ulti he has 490 AS written in dota2 when he''s melee coz less bat for w.e reason... also troll always more than broke the attackspeed barrier even with 0 items it used to only do calculations for 1.7 bat in early beta but then valve messed it up 500 to 600 barrier simply means any hero that can get there will have 20% more dps/attacks than he did before so theoretically slark can cap to 352 passive stacks now he can get 20% more which is 423 | ||

all i wanted to do was list out pretty much all the various naming conventions people use. [AS] or [+AS] or [IAS]. I could care less which you use or go by cause you know pretty much all there is to know, but people use all sorts of silly stuff, i wanted to list them all and for no good reason i suppose, whoops. | ||

Pretty sure he's referring to my post, which to be fair I haven't read anything on AS for a long time and I don't retain that information for more than 2 hours. Completely forgot about the 100 starting attack speed so yeah this change will actually impact him quite a lot because of his lower BAT at higher levels (and with wisp, which we've seen ab it of). | ||

Hey, wasn't that far off, just forgot about the 100 base AS which is obviously a big deal. Though dota would be really hilarious if they removed that and everyone started attacking with 20 AS, everyone just attacking like they are attacking an enchantress as Tiny | ||

I've been mostly offlaning him lately and skipping the hotd/bkb in favor of blink dagger. Also there is a drastic reduction in the number of PAs so I don't have to MKB anymore which is nice :3 | ||
