Just happened to me a few minutes ago in my latest game. It was lagging as fuck and it was unplayable at parts. It became a stomp and one player in each team abandoned the game. After the game, it registered the same error message. imo valve should compensate players for sticking through bad network conditions. but that's just me.

EDIT: also wanna point out that the abandon was a rage quit. he dc'd and immediately abandoned.

Sure PA has free blink but Sven has free Battlefury and Blink is hella cheaper then BFury They play completely differently. All of PA's abilities are combined to be effective early on and with little items. Blink out of the gate, good burst damage on a low cooldown, evasion which is very effective through the mid game (until hex & mkbs). She retains some scaling with the attack speed boost and crit ult of course. Sven by comparison is slower developing. Without blink he can't right click well in ganks early on and has less farming mobility. He has an innate cleave, but he needs damage, attack speed, and/or sustain to jungle fast with it. Sven is also cooldown based around his ult where PA is always good to go for a fight at any time. Armor is great for somethings, but it doesn't offer nearly the same level of protection as evasion in many situations. There's even niche things like Sven not being as good with Aegis/Buyback since he won't have his ult. Sven is also str which affects how well he scales and makes him more item dependent and affects his item choices. The list goes on and on too. Sven may have cleave as an ability, but if you level it up you're missing out on his armor from warcry or stormbolt's damage. PA can easily go 1 point in blink, max dagger, max blur and have a solid well rounded mix of damage and survivability. Sven doesn't really have a value point skill to the same degree so Sven is making some serious trade offs in his build pre-15. I don't really know why Sven isn't popular, but he's very different from PA.

Sure PA has free blink but Sven has free Battlefury and Blink is hella cheaper then BFury I think its because sven is easily kited, atleast other melee non illusion carries like pa, lycan, slark, ember, void can close gaps to get some hits off eventually and sven cant garantee that his gods strength is effective with only a 5 second bkb (and 7 seconds of mom vulnerability after). If i am correct it means you have to design a specific draft and strategy around sven as a carry or play him in another role because the armour+speed bonus and the aoestun are still usefull skills. If sven gets some hits off as a non carry while in gods strength its considered a bonus to make fight easier, but not a must. I like the core sven aghs first in pushing lineups, but it is unexplored territory in the proscene (maybe for good reason but i still like it). It could be a pushingdraft with better lategame and teamfightpotential then the old versions of the pushstrats. So, when the pushtimings come to an end, you still have options to transition into a teamfighting lineup and win the game from there.

The common melee carries pretty much exclusively either have some big utility/teamfight spell (void - chrono, ember - SoF, lycan - pushing) or extreme mobility. If you cant contribute that way as melee you kinda need extremely good lockdown/mobility, because the only thing you'll contribute with is your rightclicks. PA has it, Slark has it. Sven doesnt. Lots of other melee carries also suffer from the same issue. Granted, people have experimented with him as a "DP/ET counter" due to team armor as well as in an offlaner (Gods strength actually allows him to do solid damage with limited items, a good trait for an offlaner). Maybe theres a spot for him there, who knows. Other than that he kinda needs wisp and even then theres often better choices.

Mortred - PA has a major peak early on with limited items. - She gets around by having the mobility to jump around freely before her opponents have BKBs and is hard to kite. - She's there for right-clicks. No more team utility. - She depends on applied pressure after hitting her peak. Sven - Sven requires a build-up moreso than Mortred to transition between different stages of the game. - He can be easily kited before BKB and requires bans to not get kited during the BKB. - Sven offers more to the team in terms of utility, bringing a stun and armor/MS to the table. - He depends on items to constantly remain strong.

That record is a bit deceiving though as it includes games like this: http://www.datdota.com/match.php?q=1067754711 Where Sven put up very good stats and showing with strong numbers, but his team still lost. I think he has some places. With Wisp he's probably most like a Tiny that hits timings earlier and probably gives more teamfight damage for much less sieging damage (+200% dmg vs +150dmg/-50atk speed). Sven can also build BKB earlier than a Tiny who will usually go 3 or so items before building BKB. It overlaps a bit maybe with Wisp & PA + Bfury in other ways I suppose. Sven also does not rely on something blocked by BKB to boost his damage like PA which can be important.

so for ga its everything for repel euls/tornado wont work. I think fortunes end (oracle q) will purge if you start casting it before the repel but you can't start casting after the repel. not sure on that interaction. The rest should work. realistically just check the wiki

we usually play support with one or two more friends it usually turns into I play roaming all gaming and him sitting behind the carry just leaching xp from the carry some games turns into I feeding a lot because my ganks doesn't work also I feel like we lose a lot of ground in some games because this friends doesn't know how to be aggressive and punish the offlaner we are pretty old dota players, so it is kind hard to change i feel

Stack camps, get like a single smoke and try and gank mid and then move back to the carry. If you work together, the ganks are more potent and the lane presence is heavier when applied. You also stack twice as many camps.
