Vlad's not really necessary for a PL team because literally no aspect of the aura actually benefits his illusions.

not myself, but people seem to think that vlad's is a good pickup bc, in theory, it has all of your farming needs..but in actuality it's not great.

i remember i used to build that item 24/7 any time i played a right clicker.

I think crimson gaurd on PL could be helpfull and costeffective to raise your EHP against ET aura (no manacost either). PL's feels to come online earlier, drop of earlier too and better at teamfighting. The crimson gaurd doesnt delay those timings by alot and the active is really strong aoe ability. Lets assume you focus ET first and get your armour back around the time that the CG-protection wears off into a teamwhipe, maybe. And the +6hp regen+passive damageblock is enough to farm junglecamps too.

Mediocre mmr knob here, so someone with higher mmr should confirm this.

Active: Guard - Grant nearby allied heroes a 100% chance to block 50 damage from each incoming attack, along with 2 armor. Lasts 9 seconds.

+ 250 Health
+ 6 HP Regeneration
+ 2 All Attributes
+ 5 Armor
BLOCK CHANCE: 80%
BLOCK DAMAGE MELEE: 40
BLOCK DAMAGE RANGED: 20
GUARD ARMOR: 2
GUARD DURATION: 9
GUARD RADIUS: 750
GUARD DAMAGE BLOCK : 50


Last edit: If you go standard PT's --> Diffusal blade --> Crimson Gaurd. You should be able to fight alot with this itemcombo and come out victorious because you get +2 atr +7 armour +250hp and a +90 damageblock aoe for 9 seconds. It helps you farm a butterfly faster in the jungle without wasting an itemslot, which also helps against the aura and increases the outputdamage of yourself and the illusions.

Assuming it works like normal Damage Block, they receive no benefit, even if they visually receive the buff.

It doesnt have too tho, the illusions spawn quickly enough once your rightclicking.
The two NBA teams in states with legal weed are called the Nuggets and the Blazers...

how the hell does the poor network conditions thing work?

we just had a rofl stomp of a game and one of the enemy team's players rage quit..abandoned and everything...but as people were continuing to quit bc of the abandon, the game registered it as poor network conditions and didn't score the game.

any idea how this works?

edit: replay does not appear in my profile either.. what if i wanted to watch the replay?

According to this article regarding the Nemesis Assassin Event,

"The chance of receiving a cluster drop depends on how long a player has participated in the event (across multiple games)."


Does that work even if you've lost before? As long as you've participated in the event, regardless the result, it adds up to having a higher chance of triggering the event?

The one that lists the spells? Don't you just click the little question mark close to the Invoke icon to close it?

Why did Lone Druid fall off the metagame? I checked the patch logs and he didn't get any hard nerfs starting from 6.79.

Yeah me too, that's why I found it weird. Wouldn't the rarity of the bundle increase as you play with events? Or is that random as well?

Powerrangers with Shachlo plays him now and then, allways the same itembuild, wins mostly in lineups with some aoe fighting capabilities. I thought they would play ogre alot when drafting lone druid, but apparantly Powerrangers think ogre is not a good support for lone druid. If you want to draft lone druid, maybe these 4 games can help you draft well.

seems that in two of the games, they ran LD as a core with necro, which is a known strong combo for hitting a midgame push timing. they lost their game vs TT, and their win vs (struggling h4nni + 4) fnatic had some questionable drafting from both sides, fnatic having a more difficult-to-execute potm void enigma wd qop draft V pr's vs aa ogrecore LD razor

Sounds like "pseudo-random distribution" (even though that's not what PRD actually is) for drops. To use a hypothetical number, something like 0.5% chance per in-match minute since you last had a drop. That way, you'd have the same chance at an item whether you had 2 25-minute games or 1 50-minute game, assuming you were on the winning side of the contract. This is the same way battle points are earned -- in-match minutes.

What's odd though is that the drops apply to the entire team, so whose counter does it rely upon? The person with the highest counter in the game? Lowest counter? Only the arcana holder? Do multiple arcana holders in a game stack their counters together? That just opens up more questions to be honest.
