Level 1 Sandstorm is pretty pathetic when it comes to clearing camps. Yes, it can do a small camp, but usually you want to keep creeps in there to pull. Burrowstrike is just one of those skills that you almost exclusively get at level 1 on a hero. Holding onto the skill point till you need to use it is still fine, though. Maybe Sandstorm is the only way you survive a level 1 gank, for example.

I know that when you drop your items on the ground the net worth table on the top left of spectator mode shows that you have a lower net worth. Would this work in a real game, esp if your carry drops 15k worth of items? This was discussed since the very first iteration of the gold comeback changes in 6.82, but I don't know if a conclusion was ever reached. I've never seen it in a pro game at least.

![]() It's probably more common in sub 3k mmrs but it isnt gone in higher mmrs so dont feel bad about it. Ler has some great articles on how to play support http://www.liquiddota.com/forum/dota-2-strategy/465232-the-art-of-support-part-1 http://www.liquiddota.com/forum/dota-2-strategy/465496-the-art-of-support-part-2 http://www.liquiddota.com/forum/dota-2-strategy/466577-the-art-of-support-part-3 http://www.liquiddota.com/forum/dota-2-strategy/467403-the-art-of-support-part-4 Also, pick whatever you like having fun is the most important thing. Play carry if you want, try to first pick it though

I see so many supports with no real mana sustain problems rush these when losing and cripple themselves. Urn, wand, tranqs, euls components, force components all do more to keep you alive when behind I get it if you are running a push strategy or you can pick them up with first blood gold in 5 minutes.. But I'd generally rather my jakiro slow builds a force than waste 1k on arcanes
