Yes.
Al tough I believe the counter restarts if you play without dc'ing for a while. Unconfirmed and have no idea how long.

I've argued before that if you abandon, but come back and help win the game, you should get the win and the rating increase. Of course you should still get an abandon, but abandons can be tracked independently of losses. Nobody seemed to agree with me. The way I see it, if you abandon, you've screwed over your team. But if you abandoned not out of maliciousness but because of an internet outage, you should have an incentive to come back and help your team. If you get an abandon and an automatic loss regardless of how the game pans out, then there is no incentive to come back. Your team is even more screwed. Does this not make sense?

no, it doesnt go through bkb.
It's actually in the tooltip, theres something like
"Damage Type: Pure, Pierces Spell Immunity: No"

Honestly I would rather the opposite. Take the MMR but don't give the abandon. MMR is a lot easier to regain and means far less. Getting LP however is a much bigger deal and a bigger issue for most people. In that way I think the punishment is far less severe but there is still something tangible for not playing for 5+ minutes.

I think its fine the way it is. You don't want the fifth guy to come back anyways. You stand a far better chance at winning 4v5 with the extra gold and xp, than suddenly having a fifth guy on the team who doesn't have any items or gold and is now 5-10 minutes behind on xp

does relocate stop channeling spells? for example. Wisp tethers Tiny to relocate into battle, then towards the end of the relocation duration, Tiny uses a tp scroll to a tower nearest the teamfight. When the two get relocated back to their original position, will tiny's tp break?

That happened to me once, my teammates didn't pause when I lost connection. I got back after 5 minutes. We won anyway but it registered as a loss for me.

I have not played in this new patch. What's the merits of crimson guard aside that its an upgrade of vanguard. Is it pretty much granting your allies a free vanguard for 9s?

Can someone list 3 carries that are simple/straightforward to learn (and maybe why)? I play a ton of support and would really like to start branching out. I'd prefer non-armlet carries if possible and non-micro-intensive carries.

My list is as follows

Lifestealer:
- Tanky
- Nice steroids on Rage (immunity + aspd!)
- Decent Slow
- Can be relevant any stage of the game

Spectre
- Can split push
- Decent escape mechanism (dagger to the trees)
- Good 1v1
- Relevant 6 onwards
(Cons: pretty shitty base damage, hard for a comeback if shut down much and you are inexperienced)

Jugg
- Spell Immunity
- Decent right click
- Decent team fight with healing ward and omnislash
- Good 1v1
- Relevant on every stage of the game

That's my preference tho

He is very versatile so armlet is an OPTION

you could go racecar LS
- phase drums s&y
or armlet LS
- phase armlet
or mjolnir LS
- phase mjol

with late game options depending on the situation with
- basher->abyssal for the added disable
- AC if there is no AC carrier
- desolater/daedalus for the added umphf

I always go for phase + drums + (item depending on the game)
since you're gonna be chasing a lot

WK. Easy carry to play even with little farm. Treads blink blademail mjolnir abyssal. Bkb if necessary. Midas if greedy.

Ck is also an option. Like WK, he is a carry with a stun. So you will feel like you're contributing. These heroes require you to be interactive though, since afk farming is no guarantee for winning with them.

I won't suggest spectre because she gets shut down easily, and unfamiliar players may struggle to catch up in farm. Carry gyro Luna ursa weaver are also pretty simple.

For life stealer if you are not used to armlet, you could go for phase shadowblade. Preferably do it only if there's a secondary DPS source. Basically this build is to solo kill heroes, plus sb is broken in pubs. I like to extend to orchid for more solo killing potential if I'm doing well. Alternatively you could just go phase drums sny. I personally don't quite like the build.

You could also go WK but usually they are countered with AM/Necro/Diffusal which can be mitigated with wand (will need you to properly time it on when to use it). His early game is pretty shaky due to mana restrictions and the early game -> level 11 phase is the trickiest phase imo since you will have a pretty long resurrection cool down. Levels is slightly more important to him rather than farm since your main contribution to the fight revolves on your ult.

Treads + wand -> blink -> blademail is your best bet but just focus on getting to level 11 AT LEAST, when you get to 16 then the game will be easier for you.
