Besides, mine was a legitimate question. Is there anything not obvious to be done to have good games?

Don't approach games with the attitude "my allies are cancerous glue-sniffing awful trash noobs."

i guess you can 5-stack, i almost only exclusively play dota when i have at least 2 other friends with me. but try not to let dota ruin any friendships you have, it's happened within some of my mates lol

you are not giving anyone the benefit of the doubt if you are "disappointed in humanity" every time you play dota. Because you have already taken the moral high ground, but in reality you are part of that same humanity you are disappointed in by thinking this way.

From what you wrote it seems like you expect games to go a certain way(probably similar to pro games, just guessing). Dota is not *supposed* to be played a certain way. Get that misconception out of your way fast. Playstyles are not necessarily wrong or bad because you don't know those playstyles.
If the guys in your games flaming before game even starts or misbehaving in general, then tough luck. That happens from time to time. Normally it can be avoided by being genuinely friendly in written word(I know it's hard), asking nicely("Can somebody buy flying courier?" instead of "Why do we not have a flying courier yet?") and letting people play their game without telling them to do something different than they are currently doing.
If you are a real tryhard player, you can even try to influence people in your team flaming each other in a way that everyone is angry at the other team instead.

How is composite damage calculated for magic immune units?
|
The immunity is irrelevant and doesn't affect the magical resistance or armor values of the unit.
|
Then what is the magic resist of Visage familiars? in 6.79 they had 96% magic resist but icefrog just made them magic immune in 6.80. do they still have 96% magic resistance?
|
The wiki seems to indicate that they take 100% magic dmg from stuff like doom so that would mean 0% resist.

is there a special interaction with orbs such as Viper Q and evasion? i played against brew and despite him having only 10% evasion i missed 9 out of 10 hits. I went back to watch the replay and it was really weird...

Remember he gets a guaranteed evade every 10 seconds for the next attack.

na i kept hitting him in a row. or does dot damage not stop the evade? he was hitting me, so corrosive skin should have stopped his evasion.

I dont think corrosive triggers his evasion. It cant be evaded as it is spell dmg if Im not terribly mistaken, so it would be strange for it to trigger it.
