Simple question, simple answer.
If its good or not wasn't really in the question. It's definitely "cost effective" damage. Damage is often the wrong purchase.
it might be cost effective damage on most heroes, but i asked if, on PA, it was more cost effective (as in, all mechanics taken into consideration with the hero, not just a raw number) to pick up daedalus instead of finishing an abyssal blade.
i'm not purposefully misreading his answer. he said it's the 2nd biggest dmg item for her, then said it should only be gotten for the lulz. that's not answering the original question.
so should it be picked up over the abyssal blade? i agree with the answer that the disable it provides is much stronger than the extra crit chance from daedalus.
edit: for the record, i should have left the math portion out. i should have said "is it cost effective," i think math implies that i want raw dmg numbers vs practical application.

Never, ever, ever pick up daedalus instead of abyssal. The bashing + active of abyssal is far too good to consider Daedalus over it.
Is this worth it? (Zeus hits level 6 with no mana, but Legion Commander in ult range. Zeus suicides to Rosh and immediately buys back to ult and kill Legion)
What the hell is up with 4 Null Blademail Prophet? 4 Null I kind of get, it's one of the cheapest ways to give yourself tons of damage I can think of. But the Blademail?

Sick damage and to counter march of the machines to hurt the Tinker I think. Ppl also use it against Skywrath mage but I haven't seen it work properly against it and I'm confused why because BKB actually stops that guy's Spells (unlike Tinker's MotM) and you're open to alternative items like Force, Euls, Sheepstick, Orchid to fuck over the little betamage whom isn't a rearming, blinking shithead.
Like seriously what's stopping people to do normal shit like treads into mael but go into forcestaff instead of blink when a Skywrath is on the field because even if that hero shits on NP why do that dumb Tinker focused build?

He could just run back and regen and ult.....
It takes him 22sec between leaving lane and dying to Rosh. Sure its a few secs faster, but hardly worth a BB compared to just running home.

I've played against a NP with dagon and blademail. I was using sniper.Extremely annoying since he would just tp,dagon and blademail. Shit was frustrating.
it's a man fighting and ganking build, with that level of early stats he can man fight pretty much anyone especially with blademail. If you fail you first couple of ganks and fall behind though you're screwed because you've really weakened your mid game

plus once he gets back to lane, he can't farm for another 20s because of the buyback debuff.
if we're playing for serious, then absolutely not worth. if the game has gone full retard and you want to join in, go nuts.

I'm suspicious Bone7 will start doing it in officials whenever c9 start playing.

Or do you take chances and put sentries down in commonly warded spots?
depends in the early game if iam support iam the first to move out to make sure they don't block my jungle and if they block anyway and take my harassment i just deward it, later in the game you often can make an educated guess where they have wards based on the enemys reaction to your movement. If i think i know where it is i try to deward obviously. I think that using sentry + obs everytime you want to put a ward is a waste of gold. However dewarding key areas such as rosh and the entry to your jungle is often a good idea.

Best bet to guess where the enemy supports are warding is to keep track of their ward count all the time and make sure to see when they use their wards and where did they come from. I know its not always possible and higher u get less obvious wards will be.
When game gets longer and u can actually afford more than that 1 set of sentrys its fine to put down "random" sentrys to deward just to make sure enemy doesnt have observer in the important spot like roshan.
That's why you should go into your jungle early so you can catch the enemy warding. Although in high level or organised games, it's more likely that they 5-man to secure the deward
