The only difference between ranked and unranked is that you get to see your ranked MMR. And once you get a ranked mmr, it stays separate from your unranked mmr (so ranked games don't affect unranked mmr and vice versa).
So if you want to see your MMR, go ham play ranked. If you don't care, do whatever you want.
PS: People flame just as much in either. Ignore people who say "omg i have a noob on my team" or similar, they are no more skilled than you.

...are you serious? Blink is the reason AM is one of the fastest farmers in the game (with a bfury)
And flash is a skill in LoL that's basically a shorter ranged longer cd blink dagger that doesn't get disabled upon damage.

If you are the type that cares about MMR a lot and might develop ladder anxiety over it, I personally suggest playing ranked when you have a handful of heroes that you are very very familiar at (good enough to win and carry out your hero's role nearly every game at your level). This way, whenever you lose MMR and really want to "earn it back", you can always play those heroes for more reliable wins.
Just keep in mind that no matter what mmr you are and what hero you pick, you WILL get people on your team who don't give a shit (picking 5 carries after you first pick, rage and intentional feed) or enemies that are simply seem far superior to you.

Even bigger of a reaspn is that it greatly lowers the time it takes to move around from lane to lane to catch lasthirs before the tower kills the creeps.
So mobility, basically

Now for my question: my razor is shit. Anyone know any good guides or can anyone explain how you play this hero? I just seem to not get it.

Nobody understood that I was poking fun at "double flash" when Dota has only one use for flash, which is flashfarming. Also Bfury AM(useful) is very different to blink dagger first AM(trolling).

The unique things about razor are static link and eye of the storm. If razor is used as counterpick in 1v1 lanes it us usually based around static link. Static link is way worse in 2v2 lanes though. Static link razor builds tanky items to survive being attached to someone for 7 seconds and still have enough health to fight afterwards. Eye of the storm is most useful for its ability to damage towers(with aghs scepter) and be refreshed(better for teamfights). Like lunas ult and juggernauts ult, eye of the storm is bad if activated with lots of creeps around.
The biggest thing is agha refresher ult, because each hit of eye of the storm applies the -1 armor per shot and two agha boosted ultis hit like 6 times per second. It is an incredibly strong timing, though agha refresher is also very expensive.
That's about all I know for sure about razor.

Which positive auras or buffs from hero skills, items, and jungle creeps affect lane creeps? Or if easier, which don't? And which don't stack?

Beastmaster's doesn't either, correct?

No, Beastmaster's does as well.
Anything that does not explicitly say in it's skill description that it only affects heroes affects all relevant allied units.
The trickier thing is determining what does and doesn't affect illusions.

What are good heroes to pick against bumrush heroes like wraithking, doom, razor etc that just start 5 man tower diving you like 15min in? I'm guessing defensive support heroes like omni?

A good team is always the answer to this question. If no one tp'ed in to help you when they dive two towers to get the kill, there's really nothing you can do.
You can play heroes with more tankability like omni or bristleback to try and counter it, but that would most likely just mess up the lanes and end up gimping your own play anyways.

Is it even possible to do a quad jungle stack with normal pulling?

If you're lucky with the type of spawns, yes. You can do it more easily with ancients.

How can you check what server you're playing on? Like when you queue on multiple servers to check which one you got a game on.

Are there any decent in-house leagues for Europeans? edit: I guess this is in the wrong forum for this but I assume I can catch more Dota enthusiasts in the strategy forum.

what is the interaction between PA and daedalus? for that matter, what is the exact interaction between multiple critical chances (e.g. 2x daedalus, drunken brawler + crit stick, etc)?

Each crit is checked independently of one another and then whichever crit is highest damage is applied. So if you have level 3 Coup de Grâce and a Daedalus it'll check to see if the 15% chance from Coup de Grâce procs and then it'll check the 25% chance for Daedalus. Both can proc on the same hit, but the damage from the highest one is the only one that will be applied.
