...Wha?
Necronomicon - The item - has a passive ability (last will) on the melee summon that does 400/500/600 damage to the enemy unit that kills it. This never translates into the person being hurt by their own summons being killed.
If you're talking about the case where two people on opposite teams both summon necronomicon units, and then one's necronomicon units kills the other's necronomicon warrior - it is the unit that deals the final hit that takes the last will damage, and not by default the hero controlling those units. This applies to any units with summons, I.E. broodmother, beastmaster, lone druid etc
Necrophos - the hero - has no passive that applies a damage return when he is killed by summoned units, nor any special interactions with using his ult on summoned creatures.
What's likely going on, as someone else mentioned, is Lone Druid's backlash damage, which occurs when his bear is killed. This has nothing to do with any "necro" things.

How can I enable that green arrow that shows above your hero and can I bind it to the same key I double tap to center on my hero? (Highlight your hero on alt press in the options doesn't do it it just puts a green highlight over my hero's silhouette)

No Orchid Clinkz is pretty legit.
Treads + SR + Medallion. SR gives you ~15 arrows to play with, which is enough to burst a target down in tandem with Medallion. SR + Medallion give enough mana to liberally use arrows to last hit

By the time you have ult for a big creep though I'm not sure you need searing arrows to last hit. I know Dendi did this once but I'm not sure if it was a 1 time build.

No Orchid Clinkz is always legit (if not adviced) when you're having a bad game. Orchid is supposed to make you a ganking monster and make sure no enemy is safe anywhere on top of the stats. But if you're being shut down in lane that whole playstyle is much less likely succeed and you might as well go for more standard carry items (BKB, Crit, etc). A 20+ min Orchid wont make you much of a ganking monster.

That's why Warlock is essential free-win if you know how to use it and not using Warlock as 5th wheel, who's scrapping money for mekansm/drums/other stuff while buying gems and wards consistently.

And die with those arcanes, why not. Orchid is always good, even if you're getting it at 20 minutes, it still gives you ridiculous damage output and you can easily transition into bkb/mkb anyway. And if you're losing, going bkb won't help you, it's essential confirmation of your loss in 90% of situations.

Its been a bit since TI, when do you think a new balance patch will come out?
|
Soon(TM)
I mean Icefraud's already chatted with the pros so unless there's heavy map layout changes to balance (which seems possible considering some of the thing's I've heard) i'd expect it before big tournaments really start.

Heavy map layout changes eh? Mind sharing.....? :-)

Hm? As in making the offlanes more symmetrical? That would involve moving jungle camps around. The other thing I suppose might be moving Roshan... but how weird would that be right?

This is actual baseless rumour tho, it wasn't anybody notable who I was talking with.

You're telling me people have actually talked to icefrog..? I was beginning to think even his coworkers didn't know who he was

I don't know if this has been asked already but ... What's the best way to deal with safe lane tinker? I've had a few games playing support where he just gets out of control despite getting ganked once or twice, and I have no clue how to stop it. (Around the 3600 mmr mark)

Is there a reason nobody goes wex exort on invoker?
I mean outside of cold snap, seems like the attack speed and movement speed, along with the damage is decent until you get more points in invoke. I mean late game it doesnt really matter since you have points in everything, but early ive never seen anyone do it, despite having some success with it my self.
Usually go --> Exort, Wex, invoke, quas, Exort, Wex, exort, Wex, --- alternating wex exort until next invoke.
I seem to be able to harass better and have way more rune control. Although you trade it off for the ability to gank early, but still. Seems like doing more damage and moving faster outweighs not having a high cold snap.

I thought icefrog talks to pros now and then?

its basically suboptimal. If you want to do a lot of damage and kill people, you go quas-exort. If you want to run control-invoker, you run quas-wex. Wex-exort you basically trade in all of your control for a bit more damage, which doesn't help with ganks, teamfights or even simply staying alive. All it does is let you trade a bit better in lane, which is a steep payoff.
Also, you should never get all 3 abilities first. Because you now have access to all 9 spells which sucks, instead of 4 that are good. A good time to get the third ability is after you've met your first spellgoal. For quas-exort thats usually the double forge spirits. For quas-wex thats around the time when your emp starts getting useful (somewhere around 2 quas and 4 wex).

Wex-Exort is basically a DPS build. It's fine for pub games if you know how to play it right since it farms fast and does a lot of right click damage with some small DPS items like MoM+Crit.
It's not that good mid because while you lasthit a bit better, you have no Quas regen and no Cold Snap, which are both fairly important to Invoker's early power. If you're winning lanes harder with Wex-Exort than you are with Quas-Wex or Quas-Exort there's something you're probably doing wrong.
|
hmm okay. I tended to get that early quas because it gives you some escape in a pinch but i see why you shouldnt get it. But shouldnt you have virtually the same control as wex exort minus cold snap? I mean tornado and emp will still be potent with wex exort. (im talking 1 point in quas around level 7 or 8)
i always feel absurdly useless as quas Wex until about level 10. I dont mind quas exort, play that often. But its basically like yango said, trading cold snap and regen for more damage and better lane control.
Reason why i was asking is because it seems like in pub games wex works better for me just because there is so much "ganking" and lack of CS at my mmr that i can often just get outright out of control by sticking mid and farming like a fiend and throwing out sunstrikes. With rune control I get tons of levels because i never have to leave lane and the other mid often cant stick to lane with just auto attack harass. But I only ever run it when we have a gank heavy lineup and i dont need to gank from mid. mmr is about 3500 if that matters.
