Use cheat commands, host a game with a passive bot on one side. The cheat commands give you everything you need to test stuff like this (mostly you spawn AA/Kunkka on your side and an enemy hero/creep or just go do the neutrals to find out by checking the combat log)

Everyone was/is a noob at somepoint (or forever) so I wouldn't really be worried about getting flamed for asking a question. Even if it's already been answered this thread is a lot more tame when it comes to that compared to some other stuff on here or on forums in general.

PotM's on the other hand is an active spell which places a buff on everyone which makes them invisible. If she's casted it, then silencing her won't remove the invisibility after that as she already has the buff.

I'm trying to learn this hero in Jungle. i start with glove of haste and mana potion. I farm the easy spot then i have 2 strategy : Max the treants and farm camps or up TP too and farm on the edge of "the mountain" (where the creeps can't touch you) I have problems to become usefull in early game. With my treads and midas i'm so low hp so when i TP Gank, they focus me and I die. After i go for usual shadowblade / sitygan / buriza Is there a problem with my BO? With my items maybe?

Midas basically sets you up for mass farming and close to no team fight early / mid game.you can help your team by pushing tower all over the map using TP + treant, but that's about it.

Buy Ring of Basilius if you're jungling; the mana regen is nice and the armor buff speeds up your farm by making your Treants tankier. Don't "mountain camp" or w/e you wanna call it, it's incredibly inefficient. Your early game damage is weak and you're pretty easy to kill. Ganking in the early stages should be left up to your teammates to initiate. Just pay close attention to your minimap and port in for the sprout and a few right clicks if you see your team going for a gank. One of your main strengths is being a +1 to a gank attempt anywhere on the map. If your teammates aren't going for kills though, just focus on farming. There's really no set item build for Nature's Prophet. It's a flexible hero in terms of what items you get and what role you play. That being said, it's a pretty questionable hero to play as a primary carry, as almost any common carry can do a better job. For that reason I'd avoid going for a pure damage build with Deso and Daedulus. Your biggest strengths are split pushing and the ability to port anywhere on the map for a gank. Shadow Blade is good because it lets you split push more safely (and your teleport doesn't remove invisibility). Orchid is an amazing item for NP; it gives you decent stats, makes the enemy die quicker and removes their escape. Sheepstick is also really good. Between these it's not bad to build a damage item or two.

but how its decided who will pick for the team? i was in the unfortunate situation to be the captian for our team (we won :D ) but i felt a bit unsure for the first time be the deciding factor for the team. since im far away from high-lvl games and my own skills are just average, how should i pick in CM? i copied some stuff i see on pro-stream, like ban PL and try to remove heros i dont want to see on the other side. but since its low-lvl games, the "normal" picking isnt really working. like removing whisp etc wont bother the other team i gues.

All distances are defined via units (aoe, cast range, etc), but I doubt a 400 movement speed hero can move 400 range in a second. I'm pretty sure it is just range units. 400 range isn't much at all. -------------------- Also, Q, is there any laning partner for spectre who has a reasonable chance of keeping her safe vs a pub duolane? I had some early success with her, but now I'm just getting raped over and over. I realise it depends enormously on the enemy heroes, but it's normally some kind of semi-agressive carry like husk/weaver/naga and a nuking support. I'm pretty close to just giving up on her. She contributes nothing to her lane and little to the team until lv6, by which point the lane is well lost.

As was stated, you should not mountain farm, ever. Also, as was stated, midas is a good farming item, but makes you weak at the start. If you go jungle furion, here is my guide how to quickly get midas, lvl6 and alot of farm: Start with making 2 treants in base at around 0:00, regen the mana back up and walk to the hard camp (instead of the easy camp!). If you find satyrs or trolls, you can spawn the 2nd pair of treants right away, and kill them quickly. If its centaurs or ursas, you have to focus the big guy down, and wait to spawn treants until the first 2 are dead, because of the AOE spells. Once you spawn the 2nd set, use your clarity right away. Your 2nd set of treants should still be somewhat alive after the hard camp (given minimal micro). Move to the easy camp now, and kill that. Spawn another pair of treants asap, and go to the hard or medium camp then, and after you killed that, you should be lvl3 and have around 50 mana to teleport back to base. Make 3 treants here now, and move out again when mana is full. You should be able to get to your midas now without going back to base now, and should have it around minute 6-7. Use it asap and you should be lvl6 after. TP back to base if you have to use your ultimate on enemy heros (or if youre greedy, to farm). Next, i would get 2x sobi mask (later into orchid) but finish treads first. This way you can jungle quite quickly, you can always gank and you have enough mana regen so you dont have to go back to base anymore. Unless the opportunity is REALLY good, I would not start ganking much before you have finished orchid. If you are afk farming jungle, you can always check the lanes, and if there is a fight going on, you should of course go there, or at least help with your ultimate (dont wait until KS, just use it ASAP if you see a fight happening!). If your ulti kills some creep or just takes 100 health off of each hero, it might already swing the fight into your teams favor, and if your team is engaging decisively, TP in and help as much as you can. Also a very good way to help the team is on lvl7 to go into any lane that doesnt have big big AOE nukers and thats not totally lost for your team (generally mid or safelane are quite good for that) and try to push the tower with 2 sets of lvl4 treants. Go back to farming whenever health or mana arent high. Next item can be shadow blade for more splitpushing power, or necronomicron if they have invis (also helps pushing), or either desolator or mjollnir. Splitpush as much as you can, but keep your first priority on not dieing. Help in teamfights if your team has a better lategame than the enemy team, and concentrate more on taking down rax on your own, if you think you cant win late.

Pub games seem to drag on long enough that so long as I don't die, I can get back in it. Would you mind listing the "quite a few laners"? Basically anyone who is ranged and has a disable and nukes. (the typical 4th or 5th position guys) Rubick, Maiden, Leshrac, Lina, Lion are good examples. They can buy wards so you dont get ganked, they are strong near the tower and they might even spare some tangos for you ![]()

It is absolutely not your job to start a gank. You show up halfway through or near the end to ensure the kill or tip the balance, not at the beginning. Midas is fine for global gank prophet because it allows you to waste time tp'ing to random places and still not fall behind on levels/gold.
