Vision has nothing to do with blocking spawns, it's purely their location. They work the exact same way as standard observers, only that observers last 2x as long.
Is it possible, then, to put an observer in a location that forces a sentry ward that blocks the same camp?
If sentries block neutral camps, counterwarding camp-blocking wards suddenly got a lot more difficult

Nope, there are always spots you can put sentries to get rid of observers without blocking the spawns. Can be tricky sometimes.

Is it bad that I am deleting all my treasure chests since I don't want to pay for keys to open them?

Yes. There isn't really a point to deleting items as you have nothing to lose by keeping them around.

And there are people who would gladly take them for items if you have enough.

Viable in any way? Was forced to take this lane yesterday and got absolutely annihilated with almost every creep from both sides being denied/last hit by Drow. Was totally stumped for what to do, could hardly get near the creep line half the time.
Well a spectre support basically means its you vs drow 1v1 until he gets lvl 6 you should be having an ok time handling him. Just make sure you get your nuke off before he throws down a silence and trade hits. He should take a lot more damage than you, especially if you went ice vortex as wellㅣ

It really isn't a 1v1. You really can't do anything in that lane. Drow just starts slowing you, and then you are being hit by 2 people, and then you are dead because you are a squishy immobile hero with no instant stun or decent slow.
You may have been able to get some last hits early though, while she didn't have high levels in frost arrow.

I really doubt that there will suddenly be a demand for a specific kind of chest, given how many other people are keeping them around for no reason.
+ Show Spoiler +P.S. i'm just saying this in hopes that nobody convinces me otherwise so I can finally get the balls to sell all my stupid chests :b

Even at level 1 drow should be able to orb walk and trade effectively whether the second person hits you or not Laning versus orb heroes is really annoying.

If you attack a hero you will pull creep aggro, but when you cast a spell you do not. If you use frost arrows on something it counts as a spell cast (not autocast, you have to manually target it). Since you don't pull creep aggro when you do this it becomes incredibly favorable to trade hits with enemy heroes.
This works with any orb, not just drow.

Additionally you won't pull Tower aggro (normal tower aggro rules still apply) when diving. This makes getting at least 1 point into orbs on the heroes that have them very useful if you're planning on being very aggressive.
So example, Q is default hotkey for Drow Frost arrows. Q , left click enemy hero, move forward, Q repeat process.

Isn't orbwalking actually the process of using your attack spell like frost arrows, right clicking on the ground in between attacks to close distance/keep pace, then attacking again as soon as your attack cooldown is done so you aren't losing any DPS but are still moving between attacks?
Just harassing with an orb attack (like frost arrows) is just called that, if I remember right - harassing with an orb attack.

You should always be doing that whether you're using an orb or just using normal attacks.

I know. But I mean the term orbwalking is about that, if I remember correctly. And people started using it for moving between attacks even without an orb too, later on in the usage of the word. Not just using your orb attack to harass. :p But I guess that could also be considered orbwalking too if you are harassing while moving between attacks. So maybe it's just all called orbwalking lol.

I have been playing exclusively Skeleton King for a month or so, and doing fairly well on an individual basis (My team might lose, but I'll do well in lasthits, controlling my lane, etc). I'm looking to branch out to different heroes to better help my team. I'm looking for some suggestions to how to broaden my repitoire in an intelligent way (i.e. not just picking random and hoping I get better at that champion).

Well if you like STR Carries then you should check out Sven, Chaos Knight, and maybe Tiny. They should all play similarly (str carries with a click stun), but have different timings of when they are super powerful.

Then support heroes could be the option for you. When you choose support heroes you are relying almost entirely upon your team throughout the entire stage of the game, except for carry in the late game. Whether you successfully ward/ counter ward/ gank will benefit your entire team as a whole. Though you might get discouraged because support heroes tend to die often, get less kills, don't be, because if your team wins, that means you have successfully played your role as a support.

Hey guys ive recently started playing DotA 2 and im loving it! :D Anyways, I have fantastic 20-4 matches but also horrific 2-9 matches. I always go random and check DotaFire for builds, My question is what are important things to work on as a noob that will improve your game? How can I work on it? Thanks in advance! ^_^

Thanks in advance! ^_^ this question has been asked so many times in this thread already so im not going to go into detail 1. last hitting 2. learn all the heroes and their skills 3. learn all the items 4. map awareness 5. laning (different to last hitting. im talking about aspects such as controlling your creep equilibrium and harrassing) 6. positioning
if you have all the basics of that down you should be a pretty decent player
