- What heroes work together - What lanes are you going to have - How are you going to allocate your farm - Make sure you don't pick anything stupid that is directly countered by something you haven't banned

How does Armor work towards mitigating damage, exactly? It's one thing I've never known

Try to figure out and learn why they are banning and picking every single hero that they do. A lot of teams favor certain heroes over others as well, and since that can be a factor in drafting (picking up heroes that your team likes/is comfortable with) just focus down on maybe a few teams so you can get to know what their picking habits are overall. Pause videos/replays after each ban and pick and reason out why it was done. A lot of the time it's actually pretty obvious once you think about it a little bit. Once you start thinking you have a good idea of what kinds of heroes teams should be picking/banning, try pausing BEFORE the ban/pick that you want to predict and pick 2-3 heroes that you think would be good there, then unpause and see what they pick. If it's different from what you thought, once again, reason out why they picked it. I think there's also a few video tutorials out there about drafting, but a lot of them are pretty basic and don't have much info.

It's one thing I've never known There's are different armor type, but I doubt you care about it too much. Otherwise, armor reduces the incoming physical attack. 1 armor reduces 5.7% incoming physical attack, 2 armor reduces 10.7% It's a little hard to calculate your actual incoming attack, so most of the time I only use eHP. eHP is the Effective HP, each point of armor gives you another 6% of your total HP. tldr: it means that a dude with 1000hp and 1 armor is equal to a dude that has 1060hp and 0 armor. It's easier to calculate on the go with eHP. For example, Sven's Warcry will gives your whole team +96% of the hp when taking physical damage; or when you dive tower, you know tower hit 110 damage, and your eHP is 900hp, so you can only tank 8 hit from tower.

Haven't done it yet but I know he's a noobstomper and I don't want to show up and give him a million kills immediately. Be very aggressive to him from level1 to force him spend his pots even that makes you lose some last hits, a PMS+quelling BS at lvl3 will become a headache to most of the mid heroes (because you can't effective stop him farming anymore). Or you can do a 'timing attack' as soon as you get lvl3 (with a good rune would be nice) that you want to force him back to base (which is why you want him to spend his pots before that happened).

I'm not sure how to explain it, but yea as said, aggression and burst seems to work.

dont give up last hits for denies, chances are you are on a hero thats more effective mid/late game. if your team has a good ganker for mid, the lane can be won very easily to be safe, obtain a tp around level 5. if he somehow reaches level 6 and you misposition yourself you might have an escape option, but sometimes not needed on tanky heroes anyhow (or keep your hp high). either way this isnt bad advice unless you are too poor for boots

Like you can drop tango's, clarity's etcetc and others (at least on your team) can use them, but is there a full list of every non buyer specific item somewhere?

Well, that certainly was simple, the bottle on the courier being used by others than the buyer confused me most, but now I know! I probly should have deduced that, since I've bought wards for others to carry before >.< Thx much!

PS: Earthshaker - aghanim's scepter or shiva's guard after blink dagger? You do more damage with shiva's after Echo, (versus aghanim's 75 more echo damage), but I don't know if you gain anything more from aghanim's than only that damage. Thank you.

The scepter gives you all the stats from the item it builds from. That is 10 all stats and 200hp/150mana. All heroes get this. Builds are always game dependent in dota. There isn't a list of items you can get in a certain order that will be useful every game. Consider what each item is good for and decide which is going to be more useful in the current game.
