I try to skip BKB when possible and they usd most of their stuns on retard void so I felt like I was good. After SB hotd would I go little crit into mkb then silver edge into AC/Bfly or just get straight up MKB??

Why skip bkb though? It's not always about not being stunned. It's about not having to super afraid of getting stunned so you just skirt around the edges trying to do dmg. With bkb you don't have to play as afraid and can maximize your damage uptime plus killing off higher priority targets rather than having to hit whatever you can reach.

6.84 Skadi: buy 5.4k worth of items (PB+ulti orb x2) at secret shop, buy 275 gold item (OoV) at base
makes it less convenient to buy and way riskier if your courier dies on the way back from secret shop

when you need a strong disabler instead of supplemental lategame dps. all of those are teamfight controllers, with exception of clock/tusk being tempo-setters as well.
if they are running passive farm carries (am, medusa), you can't go wrong with those. if they're running aggressive early fighters (pa, sven, riki) then you want to avoid and prob. go bristle/weaver/mobility offlaners

why little crit... you really shouldnt need/want it
if you get crit its in games where you want big crit and if wr is your big problem you want mkb before crit (if getting crit at all) regardless
silver edge is nice for breaking spec but it didnt look like spec was your big problem
im not sure about hotd in instances like those i guess its nice for sustain but id rather just regen purely using bottle/runes/bottlecrow
anyway beesa's build is rpobably good except maybe mek because its questionable when your +4 are useless anyway and its difficult in terms of mana management sometimes

Why is Veil such a hated item? I get that it comes to late on supports and the stats ate useless for them but why not build it early on cores? The things it gives are extremly nice for cores in lane or early game and the amp seems like it could be really good for ganks and small fights. I could see it being really good as a first bigger item on heroes like doom or clockwerk that starts ganking around lvl 6. Even on carries that build smaller stat, armor or regen items it seems like it could be pretty good if the supports have a lot of burst.

it's probably underbuilt but it becomes mostly dead weight in the stage where you have to worry about cores with bkbs and it's not slot efficient if the game goes late
against cores that never build bkbs its probably nice

The kinds of cores that actually benefit from it enough for it to be good value early game also get way more value overall from other items.

I am currently 4.3k mmr and I am having lots of difficulty trying to counter anti-mage. Most ams at my level are decent in farming and even though we repeatedly gang him, he is still able to get lots of farm after getting the battle fury. I am aware that meepo is a hard counter to am but since I currently have no competency in using meepo, what other draft alternatives do we have? Especially round the late game when he is farmed and most of the disables/ambushes wouldn't work anymore.

shadow blade doom, silencer + some kind of gank squad, or maybe pick ember and try to outscale him while picking him off where you can (level 4 chains prevents blink for 3 seconds, if you have followup it should be a kill), skywrath mage +1 or 2, earthshaker (though its a race to blink before you can reliably pick him off)
basically instant long duration disables that let you pick him off at any stage, but yea coordinating consistent ganks to keep him down is hard
don't over-focus on the am, sometimes killing his team over and over is the key

after playing some lol ive realised my camera in dota is zoomed in as fuck
lol really has much better camera view than dota imo. wish there was a way to make dota's camera more like lol's

How are you guys dealing with the 6.85 scourge Doom (especially on dire*)? He legitimately seems stronger than .84 Leshrac to me. At least Lesh had a bunch of heroes who were almost as strong as he was, so if the other team picked him you could legitimately out-cancer it, at least in pubs. The only hero I can see being on Doom's level this patch is brood, who is non-existent in pubs; thus, often it feels like the team that picks Doom first has a huge advantage.
The only heroes I have had success specifically against Doom with are radiance Alchemist, Medusa (likely biased because she is my most played hero and I like to find excuses to pick her) and Linkens core Naga avoiding him whenever possible. The huge problem I see is that the supports like Omni and WW who can help teammates live through his ult can just get run over by him in lane.
If it matters, I hover around 4.5k - 4.6k MMR on USw/USe servers.
*dire b/c if he's on radiant, you can just block your hard camp to deny his devours but dire offlane doom has 2 (3 if you count easy camp) immediately accessible camps to devour from
