I remember years ago when Liquid picked Slark for Korok at AWC it was a big deal and a relatively surprising pick. I know this changed a while ago but can't remember exactly when Slark rose to prominence. | ||

In 6.79 Slark's ult was buffed that it can no longer be revealed by true sight which made him a more popular and stronger stomper. Here's a very notable Slark game by Korok ( i think this was the one) | ||

I basically didn't watch or play Dota between TI3 and TI4 so I figured it had to be somewhere in that timeframe. although it does feel like Slark became a lot more popular sometime after TI4. Really I have no idea lol | ||

If you meant Sonic Wave, it's because there's no cone-shaped AoE marker in the Warcraft 3 engine for Shockwave-based spells, while there is one for circular AoEs, so all Shockwave-based spells simply inherited the lack of an AoE marker from their base spell. Practically speaking, I don't see why there *couldn't* be one in DotA 2. | ||

Surely troll should be melee for dps there? Is it just a safety thing or is there an actual DPS interaction I'm missing? He does it to several undefended towers and at the very very end he even goes for throne again in ranged form under BKB. | ||

Used to always play middle in a "ward the rune spots, get the rune every two minutes and use rune control to help gank sidelanes/kill own opponent" kinda way. With there now being two runes, am I right in asusming that I should still go for the "normal" rune instead of the bounty rune or are bounty's benefits bigger? | ||
