Hello!
I am Sugi and i´m also owner of the eSports Machina YouTube channel where i create various content about eSports. I´m currently starting to work on my next episode of eSports ethos, which will feature iCEICEICE
www.youtube.com my last episode was about Chawy who was also a Dota Player before he moved to League Of Legends.
So the reason why i´m here is to get some data (as in interviews/articles that i should look) about Ice, so i can bring a high quality video that doesn't really have that many inaccuracies.

I don't think there's a need to create a thread for this as a simple google search should suffice... Also this very much smelles like self-advertisement. This should be your go-to resource for informations about iceiceice: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/dota2/Iceiceice

@clubfan - There is a thing called reliable source and unreliable source. Google can lead me to any site that may have outdated info or wrong info, i came to here ask advice from experts, since i'm not as well versed in Dota World.

Well any interview with him where you can hear the man talk directly is your trusted source. But then again, this is iceiceice, so you need to keep that in mind.

To clarify this, since you probably don't know anything about iceiceice, ice almost NEVER gives serious interviews. Interviews with him are like 98% him joking around and trolling the interviewer.

your best bet is to talk to the guy him himself. there are not many if any experts on iceiceice. if you want a synopsis of his career then http://wiki.teamliquid.net/dota2/Iceiceice is one source. i am sure the chinese community has something similar, but i know nothing about it. the community can only report on what we know.
all i remember about him is that he was considered a multi-talented gamer and every time people saw his name in this community it was nothing but respect for the guy. he was playing Starcraft 2, Dota 2, and some other games at high level at the very same time. i remember he played wc3, hon, and cs 1.6 seriously as well.
he was seated in the DK team which was storied to be the all-star juggernaut in the earlier days of dota 2. and, i believe he's engaged, or similar.
lol. sorry, but it's really just better if you ask him the things you want to know, or list some here if you have the time.

Ice3 participated in TI1 on Scythe, Blizzcon 2010's SC2 tournament where he had an early round exit, and WCG LoL (won a SEA regional, placed third in finals) all in about the span of a year. He used to play almost anything competitive but took Dota 2 full-time due to the larger money with TI, etc.
I don't remember much about his SC2 career except he got destroyed by White-Ra once.

There is some good input here, thanks guys. As what comes to reaching out to pros, they will never reply so i don´t bother trying that

i really know nothing about reaching out to professionals, but here is my opinion on interacting with them with the ideology that they're human beings just like us. i've been a pro in other games and smaller activities, and i would have loved interviews ranging from light-hearted to story-line sort of stuff that you have decided to make.
why? because they take up little time and it's a way to give back to fans. it's something people can look up, find, and finally discover dota through. think about some of the hobbies you're into just from word of mouth or clicking bait over the internet.. stuff like that. it's also an outlet for people to get creative with.
i know you've tried already, and iceiceice probably never checks his twitter and stuff like that. the point being that the chances are slim, but it's not worth it to say that the chances are 'never', especially considering what i was trying to express in this post. it will be a lot of work that probably won't be reciprocated in any way, but consider that the 'stakes' are that he actually replies, sees your video as a sort of template and is interested at the very least.
i think the videos are good and fine and have potential. working on media and art myself, this is definitely a good gateway to really getting into things and improving your craft in a very practical way, and so i support it for sure.

Well i will probably wrap up an email and ask him, however usually its waste of time, since pro´s are getting lot of emails all the time and probably in the beginning they are fine with interviews but after fame gets in they get complacent or just don´t care.

Don't know much about his past, but he's very active on reddit and twitter, so I'd assume that just contacting him over either could work.
As mentioned above, he's well known (as well as well liked, doubt Kaci is ever gonna forget her first time meeting him) for trolling though, so take things with a grain of salt.
