Yeah I feel like game one might have been a bit of saving strats. I mean brood into qop Sven and carry MK with an offlane tide? So they have part split push and part team fight. Yeah that was never going to work out well

Glad the team has very diverse drafts so far, not just sticking to safe picks, and it worked out pretty well so far.
That means they tentatively understood how the patch can be played, and just fit heroes in accordingly, no panic whatsoever. Not just keep picking Naga and loosing the last Valve event.
So far there's the Kotl, the Zoo, the Np, the Necro, Wisp + Tusk/SB, the offlane Phoenix, the Zeus. Quite the variety.
Still a PL draft to come I can feel it.

Them still experimenting is a good thing. Then they know what doesnt work in the playoff bracket

Nah it's more like they need 1 of the 2 cores to at least do sth while the other farms their powerspike item. Doesn't work when both need items or they're useless in comparison like PL-diffusal & LD-radiance.
Now they're picking greedy PL with Ember, much better.

You're right, with GH on Zeus and a 5 position SK there wasn't anything to prevent them from getting run at while they farmed.
It's interesting Liquid is picking no Tusk or Bristleback, I'm wondering if they just don't value them that highly now that teams had some time to figure it out or whether they're trying to save them for the main event.

Top 4 in the group is save, good stuff from the Boys! And they did it with very less effort, they more or less drafted whatever they wanted, and mostly won with it. Dont want to jinx anything, but its looking really good;)

Nice, Liquid now should have the first place secured, right? Great tournament for them so far, hopefully they can carry this performance into the Main Event.

Impressive performance from the boys! Necro is becoming a must ban too, they have an Insane winrate with the hero.

Miracle emulated Wings playing 14 heroes in 16 games is my favorite part. It's always a good sign when the team isn't too reliant on any hero or strat to win.
