But when things are on the line just make a sold draft - the MMR will do the rest.

how can you just brush it of with oh, they lost to iG, shame they faced strong teams etc... for me this is a huge disappointment, regardless of iG, EG, VP or OG we would've lost to, we need to start beating anybody or they won't win squat at Ti, might not even get a direct invite if ...
Yeah, I'm serious. It must be really painful for you to be unable to accept bad stuff happening without freaking out about it. Not everything has to be the end of the world.

Still all build up for TI nobody was perfect before TI and won it!
Go Guys!! Liquid!

They knew that, likely crushed with it in scrims, just didn't execute well several games in a row abandoned it completely
Liquids Naga is very different from OGs Naga though. Notail often creates a lot more space early, to the extreme where he gave the entire first 10 min. safe lane farm to Jerax' Tiny for early blink in the past and seems to take a lot less farm come mid/late game. Beside him Anas TB could get crazy farm while Ghs Naga somewhat suffocated his own team. Maybe it's just overall team strategy where Og tend to achieve early objectives even with "lategame" Naga drafts.

you just don't get the point otherwise you wouldn't write this response, I actually didn't blast the Team but all the people who excused the loss with the bull crap that was written (you ofc being one of them, we have a saying for this, but I will save it for the next time)

Don't forget that Kuro was very correctly drafting Naga, OG have proven that And we had clearly the better draft in the last game vs iG just got horribly outplayed.
For me watching and comparing it to OG it's pretty clear - this team's core composition's just not that strong. N0tail is miles ahead of Matumba when it comes to team cohesion - illusion heroes, playmaking heroes, sacked lanes, enabling his mid - he has it all. I've seen the guy even stack camps for Ana as 1 position carry.
We just have 2 super sickos heavy farm carry players that struggled to co-exist from day1, forcing each other into feeding with risky farm, just not not being cohesive.
And MC well, he's very solid but lagging behind.
So yeah I don't think we should have such high bar for our heroes - this team isn't as strong on paper as people think, I think winning a tourney here and there And TOP8 at TI would make me reasonably happy

Also, goodbye hunter, we will miss your fanboyism!

I think the main issue is the hero pool of players especially Gh and Mindcontrol they both look uncomfortable on many heroes especially initiating heroes, also miracle- stays in mid lane more than he should sometimes which give the enemy more gold advantage on him instead of doing what most mids do (mid go to jungle and supp get exp). I dont think they will rooster change mostly due to TI being very close and not many players are available, and all in all it was a decent major considering the group stages and being last coming from DAC.

I guess we can see forev for mindcontrol or yapzor for gh

Nah I'm OK with them losing to IG. It was their shit performance in the group stages that disgust me. They didn't look prepared or confident in this tournament.

I'm with you on this one. Gh's hero pool is incredibly weak and the heroes he can play aren't meta and MC just wasn't that good of a Magnus when this is the Magnus patch.
They have a lot of individual talent in some areas but very lacking in others.

Ok trying to stay positive here with you guys:
The boys did good, support them instead of thinking about replacing them!
go go liquid!

Why'd they have to disband at all Seriously we can beat anyone with a bit of luck Won a few tourneys I don't think you need to go win it all or bust do you, especially with how volatile the scene is

Soooooo is hunter_x actually gone? Cant find the exact post but I remember, and it was mentioned in the LR thread, that he would delete his account, if OG win Kiev :D

Wait what? Are they disbanding or is this responding to others saying they should disband? Don't leave a man hanging with a post like that

Miracle just needs to shape up his form a bit, and Kuro needs to work on his drafting more I feel, then we should be back on track. Miracle made a couple of questionable plays and overextensions during the game where he played tinker, but yeah aside from that its the same 9k player we know and love.
Will be looking forward to see them play again in dreamleague. As well as NaVi.

Well i am a man of his word, so i will be gone for now. Fucking OG, why do they have to be so good? but i also never said i will be away forever, so let me say this. If Liquid win something big, like epicenter or ti, i will be back. Liquid rising: return of hunter_x;) Nonetheless , i had a good time here. And i guess people have to look for a new public enemy no.1 now. Bye guys!

When did it become our goal to be okay? Every TL game these days is like watching a kitten stumble across the road where we just pray it makes it to the other side. When we win I feel relief. with FATA and Jerax we used to destroy teams, there was no fear of losing to tier 2 teams in a BO3. You say we can beat any team with a bit of luck, but we can also lose to any team. Dota 2 is a skill based game, you don't need luck if you're better than the opponent. TL is not lacking in individual skill even when you compare it to the dominant Liquid with Fata and Jerax. So why does the team's performances not add up to their MMR? The most obvious answer is because the pieces don't stack, and they haven't stacked for months. At some point you have to come the the conclusion that the pieces aren't coming together and that the pzuzle requires a different approach. That could be trough roleswaps, getting a sub to see what changes in the team dynamic or more radical, making roster changes. I'd love to see anything that indicates they're working hard to find a way to make the team gel.
That said I still love Team Liquid and I only want to see them succeed, not disband. I only ask for Kuro to consider my faint heart when he crosses the road.
