About the Ember build: I didn't watch the game but looked at the items on dotabuff. Veil aside; why did Miracle build a Linkens? The only target spells on Secret were the Slardar Ult and Glimps; are those really worth getting that item? I don't see that much more impact of the item for a Ember...
On the other hand, we got a Battle Fury buff in 7.02, so maybe we get back to that build now

Liquid vs Bears will definitely be interesting
We have FATA playing against Liquid, as well as Miracle playing against Yapzor - those guys know each other quite well.

When there's less spells that proc your Linkens it becomes better at blocking the one that kills you (Glimpse into Static Storm). He also had the luxury since Matumbaman was already dishing out all the damage. In general it seems to be Liquid's style to emphasize survivability over individual killing power. It makes sense if you consider their raw skill, they feel confident in their ability to outplay the opponent.

They've been bootcamping in Germany I believe, Yapzor left a few weeks ago I believe.

It was a terrible game for a slark in game 1 and then a terrible one for a sniper in game 2, he did well. The turnaround of game two was a perfect blind shrapnel which allowed an easy initiation for gh and MC. His lycan was textbook and he showed he did not forget how to play the hero. Overall he was fine imo.

Not saying he played bad either, just thought he could do better for how good he can be. You kinda expect a player of his caliber to find something extra most of the time. Miracle was ballin this series, to me Matu felt to have a slightly off day compared. Still, great team performance overall. Good games.

It's not really fully solved but under no circumstances do you skip howl until 11 since it's actually just the most broken ability in dota right now. Most people end up skipping talents and are something like 2-4-4-2 or 4-4-2-2 at 12. Don't take W at level 1 though, it's not really at full potential until you can get more than 1 level and also minute 4 is first night which doubles howl effect.
Also you don't get vlads (your E gives sustain now) and you don't get necrobook (that item got ruined AND doesn't synergize as well as it used to since E got reworked). Armlet is probably the item considering how much sustain you get and how your damage scales off of base damage (hello 25 strength). After that it's your average strength carry things. Possible Echo sabre into AC, BKB, Abyssal, you know

idk about that lv1 W. If you're going for smoke gank to kill someone before the horn that still sounds like something you should get over anything else? And that was the situation they found themselves in.

Oops i thought he skipped howl entirely and was speaking from a general standpoint. I wasn't trying to say its untakeable at level 1 just that it's not really optimal in lane at level 1. Sure for a level 1 engagement howl is certainly best.

Do you say the same to matu and miracle when they never go veil on ember? Its just player preference. Thank god dota is not lol, you can build diffrent stuff on your heroes, and still make it work. You can theory craft all you want, as long as he wins with his builds its fine right? And if there is really a better item build on the hero, he will figure it out, he is one of the best on lycan;)
