Thank god dota is not lol, you can build diffrent stuff on your heroes, and still make it work. You can theory craft all you want, as long as he wins with his builds its fine right? And if there is really a better item build on the hero, he will figure it out, he is one of the best on lycan;) Maybe in regular games Necro Lycan might not be all that but he did have Illuminate heal on top of his Howl which made his summons much more durable than usual. His summons did a lot of work that game especially on the raxes because there was a good amount of sustain for them.

I wont call any of the games a clear one sided match. Liquid closes games much earlier than 40+ minutes regularly. Both teams are top contenders for dac - I m pretty sure even OG would struggle in this matches, but I would give them the fly-drafting advantage.

I am very very happy with the way they are playing and i think Liquid are up there with EG and OG. If they qualify for DAC the Major invite is in the bag, and with this variety of the draft and the insane skill every player has it will be pretty hard for opponents to find a way to fight them. Btw Bears played not only flawlessly but out of their minds in game one it was a text book dota in positioning and especially in execution. Nothing flashy just perfect coordination. When you compare that to Miracle Invoker in game 3 its just on another level, and the way they won the last fight man... ~45k MMR doto baby!

He is legit getting played in that position with any disable.. and gh is unbelievable good with magnus. The way he plays his greedy supports would also reflect into a fast blink magnus 4th. I think this meta still got a lot to improve. I m also not sure about lycan picks, for me the showing of lycan the last game was not the reason they performed well. It was invoker having huge impact in terms of dmg and control each fight. Lycan could be any core with escape and 1v1 safelane potential.

Probably good enough with the macro farming aspect of the hero, though he struggles with the micro when it comes to skirmishes. Definitely not w33 abed notail level yet yeah agree, I liked him playing meepo but it was spotty

![]() Sad B)ears can't make it to DAC but I fully expect them to show up in force for the upcoming season. Wouldn't at all be surprised to see them going far the next Major.

I think it's safe to assume it's going to get targeted in the future though so I hope they keep evolving. It might get targeted but currently liquid is at a place where you have to pick your poison. Bears took Rubick away but they had 90% win rate on him. GH KOTL is crazy good, Lycan is back in the pool and liquid were drafting in a way to force ban him, Meepo is a threat now, Miracle invoker, they have been playing well off wisp. They have clear comfort picks and still a level of unpredictability they lacked last year. Should be good to see how it holds up against proven teams.

Feels good to have a t1 position 4 support again after Jerax, even though their play styles are quite different. Thats what I was mentioning to a friend too... just wondering were those bulba fans are now. No one can tell me, that bulba would achieve the same with liquid.

They would obviously not play as good, thats also why people like shaella aka bulba defender no.1 dont say anything in this thread anymore;) For now im super happy with the team. They won 2 qualiefiers in pretty dominant fashion, it was an absolute joy to watch them the last few days. Lets hope they do good at starladder! Liquid fighting!

I don't like Bulba and think they are better with GH but we should be careful on putting the previous poor performances on him, at least until they actually square off against top teams and put up better results. Because right now they are beating the same kind of teams they were beating in the major qualifier with Bulba. Of course you can argue that they are winning against those teams more convincingly but I always though that that argument had very little weight, Faceless was dominating the SEA scenes before the major and looked like a good contender and they were super disappointing in the end, and on the other end EG (especially early last year) had a lot of shitty series and seemed to struggle against weak teams despite placing very high pretty much always. We'll see, hopefully they will be a top team again, game is more fun when Liquid is good.

TL MMR = 43086. Seems like Matu & GH are out of the official rankings due to inactivity. Still the team's MMR is quite impressive, by far the highest in the world. Add the synergy, the large hero pool, the GH factor and of course the awesome captain we have, and you will get a team everyone should be scared of! Can't wait for Starladder to the see the GH vs Jerax show!
