Aui, I love your visage but I never got why you buy atos every game, it seems situationally good but especially when you have drow, wouldnt the aghs upgrade be more valuable for the damage and stuns if your past 11?

Atos is probably the best snowball item in the game. Slows are usually OP compared to stuns if the opponents have to run from you.

I get atos when I'm snowballing (i.e. today vs BUHLO I should have gotten atos first 100%), when I won't hit 11 before aghs, or when we have an excess of damage and no way to actually get to hit them. There are more specific scenarios like them having a hero that atos rekts but those are the main ones.

How does it feel to have your former teammate in DOTA 2 Tidesoftime on your same team now (Cloud 9 that is). Also will you be playing SC2 LotV when it comes out?

It's cool I've seen tides a couple times at china and DH and it's always a pleasure.

I will be playing the campaign but I greatly dislike how blizzard has handled sc2. Doubt I'd play any multiplayer.

OMG the real aui. btw Meracle worships you.

Do you watch anime ? If yes what's your favorite show and did EE influence you in watching ?

I don't particularly enjoy anime but I'm a fan of manga. I really enjoyed es21 and fma when I read them. Right now snk and tower of god are pretty good i think.

Yes and I decided no. I think I'd play way worse when away from my support system at home.

I was sad when they didnt get a qualifier invite for TI3, because they would have fucking rekt it with RTZ + sing.

Being a C9 fan is simultaneously soul crushing and exhilarating. You win excellent games vs top teams and then suddenly fall apart in an embarassing fashion in crucial games. You almost never have close, well-fought losses.

a) Do you think this perception is true? Or is it just my memory being selective.
b) If (a) is true, then what do you think is the reason for this? Is it a playstyle/drafting/in-game leadership issue?

Voted for C9 in summit redemption, hope you guys get to go to seattle .

It's definitely a true perception but only to a certain extent. I think we're a relatively impatient perfectionist team. If we don't see a way of winning other than the enemy team messing up (which we don't like to rely on, but we probably should more) then we will make an incredibly risky play. It is very hard to be consistent online because I think we have the worst online settings of any top team. I do think we've had well fought losses (game 1 vs DK RTZ auto atk cogs into force staff wrong way +lamn dunks is the most blatant example, but I'm sure there are more), but I think we're usually very good at playing close games and thus a lot of the close games result in our win.

By the way you should learn the spectator hotkeys for pausing and speeding up/slowing down the replay

Hopefully the video will change more minds like yours. I always try to be nice in-games, ofc you'll have a bad day sooner or later, and it's hard sometimes. But most time talking to your team during the "drafting" (in all pick) helps. Even if you lose people tend to keep a cool head if you have a bit of a conversation during the draft, just remember to actually listen to your team.

Hey AUI thanks for posting here, I think its really great you do. Seeing you at dreamhack makes me wish I was there again. I was there at summer, and you were cool to talk to. Thanks.

Quick question that I was thinking yesterday. As a team who comes across EG on a very regular basis and often gets beaten by them in big matches how do you attempt to change that trend as a team? It seems like the turnaround time between tournaments is so short that you can't get time to really analyse the games, come up with and practice ideas to play versus the strategies they play?

Who's better at SC, you or EE?

Bigger question is who's best at Smash on C9? :o

i think aui is better, i watched them both play a while ago on stream while dota was down. aui was winning in diamond, ee lost to gold league 9 pool xD

Aui was grandmaster and competed in Collegiate StarLeague events for his university way back in early-ish WoL. I'd assume he's gonna be better than EE unless EE has some serious SC2 history that I haven't heard about.
