Wouldn't it make more sense to have few more academy-level players contracted and make rotations in roster based on results and put in charge someone who is not doing all the clicking during the game?

The question is can the teams afford this and a more interesting question would it be worth it? To me it would make more sense to have non-players on such roles just so that players can focus more on clicking as nimdil said.

I'm not sure how it worked this year but the coach wasn't allowed to talk to the team during the game iirc. On the other hand I think IEM Katowice allowed cs:go coaches to be an active part within the teams voice chat during the game. Might be interesting in which way eSports are going to develop. But I got offtopic I guess.

That doesn't change the fact that there is a reason professional sports teams have huge staffs and organized meetings and people dedicated to studying tape. On a top-tier team the only reason you would not have at least one such individual is because the organization does not yet believe in it; the salary of such an individual could not be prohibitive at this stage. This is absolutely the future though and as more top players retire the pool of individuals with the experience and stature to pull it off will grow.

CS:GO allows coaches to be with the team. Actually even more then that, in CS:GO, apparently the coaches are in the teams Skype/TS during games and makes callouts even. So it isn't like Valve doesn't know it, they know and allow it in CS:GO. @Ciko That's what I been waiting to hear. LoH would be nice to have in the back, would be a good fit.

He's played her 32 times in pubs so he is familiar with the hero (though honestly his KDA is nothing to write home about). XBOCT is 2-4 in pro matches on PA. This seems like the kind of hero that fits Dendi's playstyle with a strong laning and mid-game presence. Anyone know why they never draft it for him? PA's very draft-specific, and is a very squishy hero without farm. While her farming tools aren't that bad, her reliance on chance during early fights (when you most need guaranteed burst damage) makes her a pretty iffy hero on most lineups. I remember Alliance, during their dominant run, would only get Loda PA vs a Naix. In any case, there are tons of heroes that Dendi should practice more on: Brew, Ember, Viper, DP are some of the strongest mids right now that Dendi hasn't really mastered yet. Gone are the glory days of Puck, QoP, Pudge, and Invoker, to the detriment of Dota as a whole ![]() At least his Tinker is top class.

They do keep giving him QoP and it just is not doing well; not sure PA wouldn't have been a better pick in the same slot. He's gone 1-3 on QoP with this roster. And yeah Dendi Puck is still ridiculously strong but they lose more often than not with it in this meta. Too bad ![]()

Go watch any games of the past several months of games by Na'Vi compared to now. Anyone of Na'Vi fans would know how they play and their motto. Going back to it is right for them, at least for the moment. And I can say the same for Alliance, kicking S4 for Chessie?

I get the frustration for what may seem as Na'Vi bashing. It's just that, for me, their reasons for being a fan favorite are now gone: Dendi's glory days, Puppey being Puppey, and kky just being awesome in every respect. Current Na'Vi roster just give me too many ")))" vibes.

And to be honest Navi hasnt been more navi today, than the last 6 months.

There are certain ways and there are other ways you could have been polite and respectful and everyone would have treated you the same way, but you post a quite agressive message so dont expect people to react any other way "Dont treat others the way you dont want to be treated" On topic: its quite soon to say something like that, i would wait a few more month and tournaments to say something about the current NaVi line up, im with you that Dendi is a shadow of it former self, but i think that has a lot more to do with the meta than his actual play
