Starladder just announced it's 13th season. The tournament will start in October 21 with the Asian Qualifiers. 12 Teams will participate in a LAN final in Minsk on January 13-17 2016.

They also announced that the event will be held in Minsk Arena with a total capacity of 18,000 people.

Here are the additional details of the tournament.

1st Place: $120 000

2nd Place: $60 000

3rd-4th Place: $30 000

5th-6th Place:$15 000

7th-12th Place:$$5 000

That's usually how it works for these. I think there has been starladders with Chinese games happening within 8 hours of the announcement.

EG usually has no interest in Starladder for multiple reasons.
Full calendar, complicated traveling, low pay out morale and a country that is not considered save by some governments.

i think it is a partnership for one season, i am not sure if it is a permanent thing or not
