I don't mind that they increased knockback on every fucking move you do (seriously, neutral ground A launches people so far for no reason) or that they added handicap to all their AI so they die faster than you.
But why do they have to make the traditional singleplayer such a garbage mess? Not a single 1vs1, round-mode like the old versions. It's all this casual 4 + you rounds that cripple faster, weaker fighters like Fox or Sheik and reward those with large, strong, slow attacks like Bowser, DK, etc. Because although the AI hit harder at higher levels, they are still dumb and slow and fly far, making slow fighters pretty ideal.
The Master Hand/Crazy Hand final boss is an unpredictable mess that has nothing worthwhile. It's not a final boss but a constant demand of dodging for two seconds, then spamming whatever air combo you have (because let's make them float just above any ground moves) and having to predict whatever random move they'll do in their shadowy forms because Nintendo didn't animate any distinction between forms of attack (so you literally have no idea what will come next or see any hint of an attack coming).
It's such utter garbage, both modes are where they just can't give you 1vs1 with some mixed rounds of team battles and wacky scenarios. No, every scenario has to be a complete clusterfuck of gimmick maps mixed with random characters that don't all fit on the map.

Only because I am scared of online not being reliable. I played For Fun Smash and it lagged like crazy even though my Wii U practically touching my router and I have 100/100 internet. So I'm scared if I play For Glory, it will be terrible.
I was trying to get used to the game's mechanics and characters (I'm playing Fox, Yoshi, Bowser Jr. and Little Mac) through singleplayer before I go into Online, but clearly there's no point because the singleplayer is literally unapplicable.

They are unpredictable in the moves that they are going to do, just not the rhythm (it's pretty easy to get the Master/Crazy Hand to go away, but after that, it's an annoying task).

I haven't done a no damage run but i've gotten close with ZSS and greninja, you don't need a heavy character. It's an easy and predictable fight, the only form i have some problems with is the sword form.
