Won the early game handily but then naga got diffusal and went 25-0.
Illusion heroes still feel just a tad strong.
Also it was the only divine player stacking with a Harold or something, good old stomping fun I guess.

Also Earth Spirit feels a bit off, I had two remnants near me and it chose to kick the one below and behind me rather than the one I was on top of resulting in a stupid miss. Might just be rusty, I played 30 minutes without realizing smash doesn't stun anymore.

Did everyone ditch out of ranked roles when ranked classic got added back? Queue times for roles got longer for me it seems.

Dota 2 is gonna have 3 Majors + a TI next year.

CS:GO already has 4 Majors in a year (or is it three?)

Underlords is supposed to have four (or three) seasons in a year.

Valve are relaunching Artifact.

Speculation: Next season (after TI10) there are gonna be four Valve esports events having tournaments in CS:GO, Dota 2, Underlords and Artifact. CSGO and Dota 2 are obviously the main events, could see Artifact and Underlords sort of piggybacking off the events, maybe just BYOD tournaments where people can play on their phones between csgo and dota 2 matches, final 8 or whatever would be shown on the stage.

My sources for this? Literally none at all, baby.

I'm trying my second game of Earth Spirit and I have to say I don't like this hero. His spells are clunky AF.
Sometimes you drop a boulder when you roll and nothing happens and then I try to roll away from a hero and it's a mess. Like I had a tree in between me and the enemy hero and I was rolling away just to teleport to the opposite side of said hero.
Geogrip has such a tiny range you aren't guaranteed to hit it even in teamfights.
Boulder smash says unit or point target but it's actually vector targeting, really unintuitive stuff.

And on top of that his spells and damage output is low. Ultimate is boring. Orb is a starting item and got a 10 damage nerf.

e. overall this patch just doesn't feel good, I think all my games have been over in 15 minutes.

i've never had any issue with the hero other than boulder smash units (non boulders) not travelling the full distance.

boulder smash is not vector targeting. its literally point and click, if youre kicking a boulder the game only checks to see if theres a boulder in a radius next to you.

the hero has low numbers because the hero was OP from 2013-2018 and because power creep left him behind.

That's how I remember it working but I launched demo and tried again and that's 100% vector targeting for me bruh.
If boulder is 150 to the side it will end 150 to the side of the target as well.

As much as I'd like to hope that the world emerges from this crisis with an understanding that we have to revamp and improve our infrastructure, economy, labour relations, public health, government and social attitudes, I doubt anything will fundamentally change. We'll suffer the same problems with pandemics over and over in this increasingly globalized world and no one will be the wiser. Maybe I'm just a pessimist.
