My day to day has completely changed. All appointments are now telephone consultations initially. Every patient is grilled beforehand whether they have any symptoms or risk factors for covid. If it's not something I can handle over the phone and I need to see them face to face, I send any possibly infective patient (even those with any possible non-covid infection like a urine infection) to an isolated corner of the practice where an isolated doctor sees them, who rotates day to day. If I think there's any chance of covid or respiratory symptoms, we turn them away to the government's health service to review and rule out covid first. Whereas usually I'd see about 15 patients in the morning alone, I have seen a grand total of one patient face to face in the last 48 hours.

But we're now figuring out how to do fully remote interviews, and we're hoping to start interviewing at least a few people soon. Definitely fewer people than we would normally tho. We're also still onboarding new people, although if they want we'll let them postpone their start date (with pay). Someone working for me is starting in the next few weeks and I'm worried about making them feel comfortable! Pretty much guaranteed for Canada.Only need 2 negative quarters for a recession. Oil getting owned hurts us too. CAD/USD at .68 cents QQ I wouldn't stop applying to jobs tho. My company is still hiring. We want to close this asap before HR intervenes / freezes.

Some are even allowing new hires to start remote and giving them a WFH budget, etc.

Maybe my choice of path was just randomly right, but I felt a natural character progression that is executed so much better than in the last game, that I only once felt underpowered to continue and had to change tracks. It is a beautiful game
