Dunno really. This league mechanic really fucks me hard. If I skip it, it's usually going okay. If I touch it, I usually instantly die. But I am only at T4-5 maps. Compared to my friends I think I got the worst league start. At least the weirdest with the balance of AoE scaling or doing virtually no damage. Maybe I should have picked something that doesn't need a Hatred Watchers Eye.

I was contemplating going the Frostbolt + Ice Nove route myself cuz I wanted to play that build for a while. Glad I didn't do it. Standing still is too lethal this league. LUL

Haha yeah, you need to stay at range and position correctly even against normal mobs, and I still kinda struggle with the playstyle. But it is very satisfying to play and once I put on Pledge damage should be pretty nuts

When I tested the build in museum league I noticed most deaths come from accidentally pressing ice nova too fast, canceling the frostbolt animation and standing still for ice nova x4 self cast. Do you get used to not doing that after a while?
Storm Brand would have been the way to go in this league. Massive deeps and free movement.

I'm guessing since I live so high up there's not enough bandwidth in the building for me. If I watch 720p youtube videos my modem restarts. Upgrading the connection probably does nothing.
My mobile service provider only lets me change plans from 1.4 onwards so that's no solution either. (although other providers will do it within in an hour). Conveniently every extra gigabyte costs 2.5€ with this provider.
Now internet is kinda whatever, but I'm still missing part 1 of Wheel of Time. That's triggering.
