I just don't understand why the gold change was even necessary, comebacks were still possible before and the nerf to deathballs would've made games more exciting anyways.

mostly because of the xp and gold change, but that didn't hurt, although I dont know if the diffu change was a buff or a nerf

Game is "more exciting" when you change every core aspect of the game 180 degrees. This is the IF's point of view.

The change to tower gold/fort and general early push hero nerfs were more than enough.

Icefrog will do that if its a problem. As always, the numbers are likely over tuned, just like new heroes when they are released.

SF's autoattack animation is pretty weird, tho. The projectile starts flying in the first quarter of his hand swing animation or something. It feels really strange.
