Do you really think so? Dire has easier access to the pit, and easier access to better ward coverage of the pit, imo.

The random rosh timer was to address the passiveness that was caused by the fixed rosh timer, which drew games out by intervals equal to the rosh timer. But then dire gained the advantage of being able to scout rosh so much easier due to the random time. It basically created information that was not there when the timer was fixed that dire has an easier time collecting.
I don't think its a bad change. But the image looks kinda fucked. The mimimap is total messed up and the river just ends before it goes off screen. Also, where did the dire dire ancients go? Because rosh would be where they used to be.

Dire Rosh advantage was significant and relevant well before the Rosh timer change.

And it wasn't what we see now. The timer change makes it so that Radiant have zero time to position before the fight starts. It means that as the game goes late, Radiant cannot ever control the pit in any way, shape, or form. There was an advantage, sure, but it wasn't free Rosh every time.
