Wtf, aren't you suppose to get a win if you get abandon but comes back to win the game? Or what was it they changed recently?

If you are the one who abandoned, you still get a loss.

I am sure Kennigit is super excited right now and not cursing Youporn under his breath at all times. Hopefully other, more seasoned players will let the up-and-comers know exactly how bad the idea of being sponsored by a porn company is. I'm not cursing them but my understanding was that they were going to be a smart and just do online marketing with player image, twitter, facebook contests website etc etc....not logos on jersey.
- Blizzard - Riot - Nintendo - Sony - Microsoft - Intel - Asus - AMD - EA - Activision
These are just the companies off the top of my head that i can think of that have ''no gambling, porn, alcohol'' clauses for contract termination. Its really industry standard because investors still view all of these companies as marketing to kids, on top of brand image.
Maybe they could do something in Russia or China/SEA with Tanks or something but seeing that youporn sample jersery they did really left me puzzled as to what they think they will be able to do..

YouPorn looking to sponsor eSports is just bad. Since Google is stopping to advertise pornography (Jul 2014) it's no surprise these sites are considering strong avenues of exposure from online live streaming sectors involving games (that's their demographic anyways).
and then there are some orgs/people actually considering taking up YouPorn's offer which should be a sign of something about this culture and business as a whole.

I guess some teams just want exposure cuse to be honest, pro scene isn't easy to breakthrough in.

I played this game http://www.dotabuff.com/matches/816449031 recently. I abandoned at like 13 minutes, because the enemy kept unpausing, in the end we managed to win in a super close long match, only one rax left stadning on the map. It sucks pretty hard seeing a -25 next to your name at the scoreboard eventho you won. =/

I agree... If you came back and won the game, you should at least gain and lose nothing. So the rest of your team gets their added points, and you don't lose anything.

Yes, from developers and companies, not from all teams and people.
no need to punctuate with an ellipsis lol

No, you should be punished if you're gone long enough to get an abandon. If you're having an issue that causes you to not be able to get back for >5 minutes then that's an issue and people should not be expected to wait for that. 1~2 is fine, anything more than that is excessive and is punished accordingly.
