So it hasn't happened to you in a few months, most of the times that people experience lag aren't valve's fault, and if it is there are huge potions of the community that are very verbal about it pretty constantly.

Ye it's like today when my pc rebooted in a won game and then steam decided to search for updates when I got back into windows and then dota decided to search for dota2 network when I finally got back into dota2.

You should still get an abandon, but think of the bigger picture here. If you had abandoned, and knew there was nothing in it for you to come back and try to win, would you rejoin? The punishment should be getting the +1 abandon. If you come back for whatever reason and manage to win, you should get the win (as long as you weren't still disconnected of course). Not having any reason to play after you've abandoned screws your team over more.
tldr: you are still punished by getting an abandon and being one step closer to low priority. If you rejoin the game and win, you should get a win accordingly.

Yeah, I agree with this. You should get an abandon and a win if you fail to reconnect in time, but still win the game. Abandon and a loss for a won game makes no sense and just makes you feel like shit.

You've probably given your team a fairly significant disadvantage, I don't see why you should participate in the W if your team manages to bring it back to a victory.
Obviously there are cases where your internet goes down as a godlike tinker at 25 mintes, and you reconnect 6 minutes later to learn your team didn't pause at all, but in MOST cases I dunno why you should get a shot at a win when you've probably given your team a loss.
