I saw what looked like fist of the heavens from D2(or something very similar), and very obviously blessed hammer. Paladin skillset probably is focused much more on sword and board, with the shield being very important to damage. So paladin could be a 1handed weapon/shield version of a barb. >.>
The skills of a monk are pretty simliar to that of a paladin. As both have aura (which will not in the game, blizzard said so...) and not regular melee fighters, they use weapons more to support themselfs....

We'll see what else they add as far as customization but so far im not impressed.
They have to fix way too much shit like monster density (contrary to popular belief, the new act 1/2 mob density is bad for the game) It forces every spec to be an AoE grinder basically. The skills and resource systems are still kind of a joke. Too many silly skills that are mathematically retarded, playstyles that only serve to remind you that you are stupid for not using that other one that kills stuff 5 or 10x faster sometimes without less thinking and effort on your part etc.

Not sure if this has been posted but, here is a look at some of the new loot stuff, (some real grainy pics and info from http://www.diablofans.com/#loot) + Show Spoiler +
Noticed the two items have account bound on them. Havent played in a while, so was it possible to craft account bound uniques? I remember vaguely some account bound rares I crafted...but this was supposed to be from drops.
Some more info on other things
The MysticCan Transmogrify items, so you don't have to sacrifice looks for power. Item Enchanting - allows to reroll one of the affixes on a rare/legendary item. New Level Cap - 70Every class gets new Skills and Runes Which means a fresh economy and new power-cap as well New ActFeaturing what looks like Westmarch, with lots of graveyards and other fun places! Major Paragon ChangesIs now Account wide. No longer has a cap Seems to have Stat Allocation tied to it ![[image loading]](http://www.diablofans.com/uploads/gallery/album_1609/gallery_47244_1609_22804.jpg)

In many areas, D3 is a big improvement. That does not mean that I hate D2 now. I have very fond memories of it. Many areas including Graphics and... ... .. . I can't name any other areas. What were those other areas again? Are you one of these guys who played through normal and says know :"I played D3, it´s shit!"? Seriously, if you can play smoothly on inferno, it´s not that far away from D2. I personally can´t play D2 anymore, because D3 is so much more comfortable to play than D2... I love this... Because you have to go through the game multiple time to play inferno. I played D3 normal... And i had no fun playing it again... so how could i have inferno ? I would have to force myself to play the game again to attein this enjoyable part. No way. I'm not saying Diablo 3 is shit. I was disapointed, left it alone for a few month, then got back on it and finished it. I don't like it. I was not a really fan of D2. I still love Diablo1 much better. Diablo 1 was awesome. Diablo 2 missed the dark atmosphere of D1 but was still good Diablo 3 miss the character customisation of both D1 and D2 but have still good dynamics and have kind of the atmosphere right. Those who talks story... you don't espect and play a Hack and slash for its story. Broken english is broken. I'm tired Just take the path to inferno as "First work, then play"^^
Haha maybe you're right

The trailer was fantastic, as usual. Looking forward to this. Never really was one of these hardcore D2 players and I had a great time with D3.

I think the legendaries are soulbound because they have been enchanted, think I read that anyway on reddit somewhere

have they unleashed RMAH phone app yet? thought that would be just as important

Why don't they lower all the numbers? Anyone else think all the numbers in this game are too high? I'm fine with gold, but the stats are just silly. It isn't fun to see 409874320 324750983276098 45343 40984375 3439495060 4545680975 457609579825 0798237956, the numbers are too long to process, I often don't know how much damage something does within a factor of 10 or 100. It's dumb. I do not want to see a weapon with a base damage of 3000.
In Diablo 2 it was like, LOOK HOW AWESOME I AM MY BONE SPEAR DOES LIKE 2000 DAMAGE.

So is there any guesses on when is the expansion coming out?
I need to level my paragon levels.
|
No cap on Paragon levels seems stupid to me. It's just fun reaching the max level in a game and pretty rewarding. With unlimited level it's just frustrating that you can never reach the maximum.

I am sure there is going to be diminishing returns on paragon levels, much like badass levels in Borderlands 2. Its nice to have when starting that new character.

yep. be prepared for people to do 5million dps and more.
evrything as expected. new class ,1 new act, more tweaks that shouldve been patches/in the game from start.
story doesnt matter anyways since they totally went over the top end of d3 (hi your now stronger then all demons, evils and angels together.) somewhat killed it.
nothing about pk/pvp , another class i dont like, no major changes.... meh
atm only reason for me to buy it would be cause its more or less a freegame. rmah will easily bring back the buying price and most likely way more.

What not the Dota clone ?
Ok guys, sell now all your D3 Gear, dont start even farming if you buy it now. Just level to max and wait for the expansion because this items will blow up everything what you think is now worth something.

At least they gave a reason. In the previous games you were just a dude who was able to beat up one of the Prime Evils with a sword and huge right clicks. I mean, you are clicking on the devil until he explodes, so I don’t think you can go much more over the top than that.
I am kinda pumped for this new class. I love playing characters that mix it up and only 2 “melee” characters in D3 did not do it for me.

1 new act, 1 character class, this is something id love to see when im looking at a expansion in the year 1999.

Yeah, because we all want
New act: $15
New character: $10
New loot and items: $10
Higher level cap $10
Because that is how it would be if it was DCL(note: I like DLC, its ok.)

smart drops will be on the same patch as PvP
