Ideas anyone? Very very nice gear. Boots and pants are the things that stand out to me as poor. I picked up my inna's pants (65/88 9%) for 200M, and there are some slightly worse ones for <100M atm. My wizard for reference.

Try having someone power level you with 80k dps in Hell MP10 lol Even with my 206k dps things don't just fall over, unless maybe we have different definitions of fast / safe ^^ I've had some people power level me where the elite packs take 10+ seconds, that's really bad. They should be <5 seconds.

Maybe they nerfed how much mp10 adds or something, I just remember I couldn't level people on MP10 when I first started and was doing about 110k dps, cuz I would have to sit there and hack on packs and it wasn't efficient. I believe you guys cuz I havn't done it in a while, its prolly changed.

Is there a list anywhere of all these numbers based on norm/ngtmare/hell vs Inferno?

All the changes didn't affect other difficulties? I didn't know that ^^ Is there a list anywhere of all these numbers based on norm/ngtmare/hell vs Inferno? Ah, right. The only one that actually did change it is the %bonus for more people in a party. The others did not affect lower difficulties. They never changed the damage below inferno also.

I can't seem to find an updated one :/

Thanks for the input, ended up swapping the tal chest for a 400 stat marrow for 200m. Also got a 320 stat zuni trail for 80m since I figured it was cheaper than a 200-240 stat one with 40-60 all resist which usually sell for way more. (comes out to the same ehp anyways) Overall lost 10k dps from the chest but gained 50k ehp and some much needed all resist, went from mid 500 to almost 700, strange thing about it i lost 200-300 heroscore from diabloprogress not sure how that works =.=. Let me know what you guys think.

you mentioned once when I asked how to improve my witch doctor that when I buy a better weapon I should look out for maces and spears. What exactly does make them superior? And are there no cases at all where e.g. a sword would be a good choice?

I was fairly active up until a little while after paragon levels were introduced... I missed the feeling D2 gave me and didn't think playing softcore would be interesting again, but I'm giving hardcore a shot... My lvl 7 demon hunter is still alive and kicking... Thanks for the interesting reading here that got me re-interested... Welcome man! You will enjoy HC 100x more than SC. I've never heard of anyone who didn't like HC more once they got into it. If you ever got questions etc usually some in this thread can answer it. glHF!

I would guess that he was talking about the base attack speed of the weapon and that being the reason. I'm not 100% sure tho.

Yeah, it's definitely because of the base weapon attack speed, and the reasons are (afaik) two-fold. 1) Most WD skills use weapon damage to calculate the damage done. This isn't the DPS number shown for the weapon, but the min-max dmg shown below that; the DPS is a product of actual damage per hit * attacks per second. Maces and spears have 1.2 APS, and given an identical displayed DPS as a 1.4 APS Manajuma's knife, each bear will do significantly more damage. Skorns are also great for WD's due to this, but most prefer to still use an OH like TotD for pickup radius. 2) Related to 1) but different, WD's need to be mana-efficient. Doing the same damage with fewer attacks means you are using less mana to have the same effect. This is why +Atk Spd isn't a very important stat for WD's, although it doesn't hurt. It's always seemed ironic to me that WDs got a 1.4 base weapon as their class-specific 1h. I don't think that was thought through very well.

This is good insight but there are builds you can do where Attack Speed isn't bad. I have pretty high attack speed for a WD and my mana never runs out, maybe like 1-3 times an hour. Attack Speed is good for me. I use full Zunimassa set and Mana Darts tho.
