With moderately okay gear I have 33% crit, this passive gives me a fat 10% dodge, which is nice.

I'm almost done with hell act 3, and with a tanky 1hand-shield build it's been pretty smooth sailing. It's way slower than I would like a "fast dps melee" class I first envisioned the monk as, but it works. I'm at about 60% armor and 45% resists for level 58. Hopefully blizzard makes non-tank builds viable through a patch some day now, or at least eventually...

What is a good amount of "resistance" for inferno? or does it not matter? Because I want to spec into only 1 resistance and then use OWE.

No amount of resists is going to protect you from getting gibbed by unlucky champion spawns. Seems to be the unfortunate nature of this game.
They'll prevent from getting 1-shot perhaps, but you should still expect to die a lot. I'm running 1000+ and it feels no different than when I was at 500.

In the process of making a wizard now. you, me and every monk i know. lol how much dps and hp do you guys have? at least it's not a1 like barbs. (which i rerolled from, 60 barb and now 59 on my monk - who had more dps than my barb did with weapons that did 1/2 dps at lv 55 lol)

With sweeping/FoT bug fixed, what are you guys' setup in hell/inferno now? Ive been trying to use deadly reach keen eye and fist of thunder lightning flash to maximize dodge and armor but i have to sacrifice OWE... but around +60% dodge with much better armor during battle.

i think end game going high into armor/dex and then rez and having 14k ish hp is where i think monks shoudl go but getting the gear for that is so hard.
Right now i'm doing 20k in inferno by maxing out my damage i can at least kill things before they can kill me although usually something else kills me shortly after.

FoT quickening and sweeping bug is no longer working. It is not working in Asia server as well. They have nerfed wizard as well.

I was just playing 10 minutes ago and it still works on America server. Maybe tomorrow?
Also, did anyone test to see if the innate 30% damage reduction works now? I personally can't tell. Part of me thinks it's working and another part of me thinks it's placebo.

That also was implemented as per Korean server. I just checked their threads, but doesn't seem to impact much when you are one/two shotted anyway.

I find it hard to believe these stats can get you far at all, I have 1300 dex 1100 vitality(42khp), 5.5k armor (I use 1h+ shield) with 11k dps (soon to upgrade my 1h significantly) and 400 resistances across the board... And I'm still dying to hard elites in act 1 inferno :/ I don't use the mantra glitch, maybe that's why.
Still I'm thinking of switching to duel wield and sacking the armor passive I currently use now (replacing it with the dodge bonus passive).
Dno just seems really hard

A blue posted on the B.net forums that they're posting a list of hotfixes tomorrow, so we'll know about the 30% damage reduction for sure. Maybe they rolled out the hotfixes by accident, considering how fast they put it back to normal.
