I've been playing a sprint hammer build the last couple days for speed farming at low MP levels. Normally it is really hard to maintain WotB at low MP levels because everything dies too fast, but this build does it pretty well. Video here:
The difference between this and WW is that instead of relying on a fast ticking low proc rate attack to generate fury, the proc rate is much higher (0.667) and the crit chance is extremely high due to HotA mechanics. When you crit on a clump of enemies, you get a ton of fury and your globe fills up quickly. When close to max fury, you'll keep critting to instantly replace the 20 fury you're spending, and this keeps your berserker time up.
The build works like this:
Hammer of the Ancients - Thunderstrike at low MP levels you're killing stuff with almost every blow, so this run becomes very effective and things are often stunned around you.
Into the Fray, Sprint and WotB When you want to farm quickly and efficiently, it means having sprint + berserker for the fast movement speed. I like RLTW because I can be messy about where I aim my hammer, and the tornadoes can clean things up.
Leap Call of Arreat and Ground Stomp Wrenching Smash These serve a couple of purposes. They provide a small amount of fury which helps me get my initial hammer hit off sooner, and they gather the enemies so that I can get a ton of fury from that hit. Ground stomp's stun is very effective against elites, since it's for low MP you can probably kill off many elites without them even being able to attack you. Leap is also useful for bypassing terrain features.

str vit life on hit 400 cc chance (5.5) crowd control 14 %
Barbs are probably the class that cares least about crowd control reduction, as many builds are built around maintaining 'Wrath of the Berserker' (WOTB) as much as possible which makes you immune to CC effects.

Hey guys, first time posting here and I was wondering exactly what item I should look into replacing next, or what part of my items/stats are lacking for the ww build. Thanks!

You're missing out on a lot of potential crit chance on your amulet. Personally I like to have as much crit chance as possible to make it easier to maintain a permanent state of WotB in the lower MP levels. If you replace the amulet, you'll probably end up losing some str+vit, so to compensate you should be looking to get more on the chest. Eventually you'll probably want to get an IK chest because it has lots of good stats as default.
You probably want to get some attack speed as well. I threw some of your numbers into my spreadsheet, and adding 6% attack speed would bring your offhand to another tick breakpoint. Adding another 7% attack speed on top of that would bring your mainhand to its next breakpoint. This would make it easier to generate fury and it will increase your damage with your tornadoes.
My friend is looking to kit out his barb to tank ubers. I am a wizard so I have no idea what his skills should be or what he should use. He has about 2.5 mil to spend so I have told him not to expect a godly barb. He has a good wiz with things like amys and prowlers that could switch over.

If you want him to be a pure tank, he needs a stormshield, Helm of command, high speed weapon with either LoH or LS if he has sufficient DPS.. A weapon with a socket will allow you to get extra LoH. A helm with a socket will also give extra HP.
Focus on vitality over strength since Nerves of steel gives you 100% armor and extra life.
Skillwise: Primary: Frenzy sidearm/smite. Sidearm for more LoH, Smite for stunlock Secondary: Revenge with provocation
Leap with death from above Ground stomp with wrenching smash (will give you a large range stun) Ignore pain - Ignorance is bliss (will heal you up when you are low and is in general a good panicbutton). Warcry with impunity
Passives: Nerves of steel Tough as nails Superstition
I played pure tank for a while, and this was my go to build, lots of survivability and pull/stun
Edit: If he needs a good stormshield I have one he can buy for around 500k. 32% block, 70 all res and 196 strength. Plus I have a few other really good tank items which are worth nothing because they are tank focused and nobody want to play tank
Edit 2: A doombringer is cheap and will give another 7% block.

Thanks for the advice. Add me themooseheed#2371 and I will buy the items for him if they are good

Will do that tomorrow, will give him a good price because his friend has good taste and uses TL

Wow thank you so much, I had no idea attack speed worked like that. I bought a better pair of gloves with attack speed on it and now my fury generation is so much better.
I'm pretty new to WW, though I'm enjoying it so far. I think somewhat solid overall, but I'd love some advice on where to go next with upgrades.
I'm especially unsure of what to do for my weapons. I tried main handing a sword/axe/polearm previously, and even though my damage went up, I definitely prefer the feel of a mighty weapon. I had a lot of problems keeping WotB up with any other weapon, but can keep it up with minimal downtime now and it has really increased the speed of my runs.
As my main hand is currently low DPS and has all of my healing stats, what do you guys think the best option would be? Should I buy a high DPS mighty weapon with minimal stats and take a DPS loss for the offhand to recover the stats?
Hey, I like to tank and I pretty much don't/can't die anymore unless I choose to up to MP10.
I like tanking for my friends so I like to play my own style trying to fit in the best party synergy skills I can.
Leap with stun - awesome. Warcry with more armor - armor is the best =D Threatening shout with grim harvest cause I like that rune, I tried the taunt rune and others, but doesnt seem effective enough for use. Rend - I can't seem to get away from using this skill personally it is just too good, trying the 60% slow rune right now, seems really effective for protecting party members atm. Revenge - so good. Cleave with more damage - I switch this with frenzy smite sometimes or whatever new I'm trying out.

Armor ftw. I need a 1 hander with a socket or better stats to up my dps along with just general upgrades on my rares when I find/see them on the ah.
Any tips? more ideas?
I'd suggest working in some more dps and drop some defense if you have to. You should still be able to tank just fine and you'll contribute to fights much more. Get crit damage on your weapon (socket or natural) with life steal. Crit chance on shield. And as much crit chance, damage, and attack speed on your jewelry as you can afford. You can lower you hp and armor and get some life steal and/or life on hit to off set the defense loss.
If you really just don't care about damage then the only suggestion I have is adding some life steal and/or life on hit for more sustainability.

It's much better to go for the better stats on your offhand weapon. Abilities like RLTW and rend base their tick damage off of only the mainhand, which is then multiplied by stats like strength and crit which can be found on the offhand. In fact, if you have two barbs with the same stat sheet dps, with one barb has a low dps offhand with high stats and the other with a high dps offhand with poor stats, the actual dps should favour the one with the high stats.
Also, if you can find an offhand that is just a tiny bit faster, you'll reach the next breakpoint for tornado ticks. Alternatively, you can get 2% more attack speed somewhere to get it.

I really need a weapon with a socket or natural crit damage like you suggest to up my dps, but I'm a stat whore so any weapon like mine with a socket or crit is very expensive, some day.
I keep the really high hp because I just like it, but it has nice synergy with revenge and my passive inspiring presence that gives me 2% life regen a sec.
I want to try a different skill than rend, but I feel like nothing does more damage for my setup. The aoe it provides is just too powerful.
What should be next upgrades? Except from amu, cause i have a sweet trifecta with str and vit. I guess i should bump my strenght a little. Which slots can give me the biggest boost?
