I would. Also spend the money to take three flawless square greens and make a gem higher, throw that in the socket. should be a huge boost. I'd wait until the bow was over 1.1k though just so you don't have to upgrade it in the near future. | ||

I think each tick is only half of a NT tick, but it has a longer range and thus ticks more times while passing through. And before Nt, I used Impale with Chemical Burn. It's really fun one-shotting things with a knife and I love the sound  | ||

I tried buying stuff on the AH for the first time last night. I got a 946 or so xbow with no other stats for around 50k. The price ramps up quickly after that for a sometimes negligible amount of dps. You might be better off upgrading some of your weakest armor slots instead. | ||

I'm thinking if the ticks can proc on-hit effects it could be better than puncturing arrow, although I might be the only DH who actually cares about stacking on-hit effects. | ||
