I understand I'll have to kite no matter what, I just don't like the idea of kiting as much as I've seen some streamers kite on wizards and demon hunters. They kite for like 2 mins depending on the mobs they're fighting. I know I should prob just roll monk or something but I already have my barb and would like a diff play style. Minus the kiting for days lol. Thanks! You are going to have to kite a ton with any of them, wizard and DH may have to kite just slightly less than the WD. I'd roll DH personally (lvl 60 WD in act 2 inferno here).
Guess that's what I get for wanting a different play style to melee lol. >_<

(the staff is only the 1st staff aka not nightmare hell or inferno) and my character is lvl 60 in inferno do i have to back to the basic lvl for it to activate? and if i do will i have to do all the "worlds" to get back to inferno?

Thanks in advance normal staff activates in normal.
you can swap between normal and inferno and not lose any waypoints (unless you didn't finish any quests).

What stats should i stack as a mage if i want to progress inferno? Is force armor and 5000 hp viable anymore?

Do i want as much vit as possible or is it some safe limit on vit where i can maximise my force armor usage? What about attack speed and armor are they bad stats?

Try to balance raw health (Vit) and damage reduction (armor, resists). Stacking one at the expense of the other will be less beneficial than spreading them out due to diminishing returns. But when you have the choice, prefer resists and armor over Vit, as resists/armor amplify the benefits of health-gains through potions, gloves, LoH, etc...

I have a somewhat strange question. A couple weeks ago I had just purchased the game and logged into my level 10 character to find that my stash was filled with legendary and rare items that I had certainly not picked up, nor had I ever made a purchase from the auction house. Can anyone think of a possible explanation for this? Is it possible for a player to gift items to another player that show up in their stash?

you want to get as much of each stat as you can. preferably all of them in large quantities (incredibly expensive).
personally (and this must conform to your own playstyle), i usually sacrifice life, armor, resist for more damage (int, ias, crit) because i love to kite kite kite all day long. if i get hit, i die. =(

WTF? A reverse hack?
Maybe you got hit by Diablo Robin Hood He hacked lvl 60 players to steal rare and legendary Then he hacked a lvl 10 char to get those rare and legendary to
Either that or some absent minded hacker was using your char as a mule / node in a item passing chain and forgot about it.

Just curious since this just happened, what are the chances of getting a Fiery Brimstone from salvaging a blue?

The diablo website says .8%. However, the chance for rares is only .1% so I'm assuming one of them is wrong ^_^

Is the damage absorption granted by diamond armor affected by your armor and resistance? Is it equivalent to gaining that much HP temporarily, or does it take unscaled enemy attacks?
