Hahaha, wow what a crazy thought. I don't know why but I just wasn't a huge fan of his playstyle in GSL2, but man this interview was very endearing. I hope he continues to do well next year. His age alone serves as an inspiration for the future of e-sports.

Fantastic interview! I really enjoyed reading all of it! NesTea seems like such a great guy and a huge inspiration!

NesTea is a true legend. you can literally make a Korean Drama/movie out of his story.

Thank you for the translation! Nestea is a great role model for sc2, when I read the part about his parents i felt touched. I hope he can continue through GSL 3, continuing to show us great games. As long as its not Z v Z finals... : )

Awesome interview, thank you for translating this!

Thanks for the translation! One point though: when he refers to Kim Yoon Hwan he is almost certainly talking about KT coach Hery and not STX player Calm.

Thanks for the translation. This was an awesome interview. It's always interesting to learn about pro-gamers backgrounds and adversities they have overcome. Hopefully NesTea can continue to do well and keep us all entertained.

Incredibly in-depth interview, and great insights into NesTea mindset and goals. I hope he makes it into Ro4 with Fruitdealer to show us one hell of a match!

Oh, my mistake, for some reason I just assumed he would be Calm.... :p [edit] Actually, I don't know, cuz nestea mentions Kim Yoon Hwan being where he is right now because he played both matchups. Calm is an A team 1v1er while Hery is a retired? coach... Not sure if nestea meant to say Hery is retired cuz he was so good... LOL

Awesome interview, and great work on the translating.
I love how he and Cool hang out and are just chillin. THE CHAMPIONS CLUB.

His record in team play, which is now impossible to dig up, is 27-11, an outstanding 24-15 when paired with Reach. This doesn't make sense. How can his overall record have LESS losses than a specific team that makes up a portion of those games?
Pretty amazing interview apart from that though.

Awesome interview. Before reading it, I felt negative predisposition towards NesTea because of how close his victory was and the way he won by defending while Foxer messed up. Now it's all gone, and I'm a fan of the old guy. Yet, I'm a bigger fan of Marine King, just because he made playing terran fun for me.

Hmm you're right, but I think I just straight out got that from the original interview... lemme check again. [edit] turns out I made a typo it should be 27-21 and 24-15 paired with Reach
