Lots of builds go out the window with most balance changes. It isn't at all realistic to expect a noticeable change in balance without changing any "standard" builds at the same time.

How about shuffling the upgrades around a little bit more? Pre-Igniters could be moved to the fusion core.

Now, to be serious:

Marine hps 45 -10 (-22,22%)
Marine (with shields) hps 55 -10 (-18,18%)
Marauder hps (actual) 125 -20 (-16%)
Marauder hps (proposal) 125 -25 (-20%)

Stimming should cause 25 damage to the marauder instead of 20.

No, it's because progamers mass pumped them from 3 raxes. The reaper isn't intended to be used en masse.

i wholeheartedly agree with you, i mean in a normal opening everyone build a depot first anyway, but thats not the point, this changes the basic mechanics of terran in such a fundamental way that it won't feel like terran anymore. an increase to barracks building time is a good nerf imo,

Marauders can't shoot air and do less DPS to anything non-armored.

Reapers are still amazing scouts. It is kind of hard to stop something from jumping up any wall around your base and sneaking in.

I think that making reapers completely useless except maybe for scouting, adding 2 new totally retarded maps, and not touching the current state of PvZ (which is by many considered extremely hard for Z) and hitting PvT very hard (which is now considered to be a somewhat ''fairer'' matchup) were all extremely good decisions by Blizzard.

Like this will stop complaints. . .If it's not reapers, it's hellions, or banshees, or marines or whatever. Zergs will always complain. Also of note: Blizzard killed a build that was barely being used. (The 3/5 raz reaper). Thanks.

Reapers, immortals, roaches, and marauders should never have been in the game. Reapers are extremely gimmicky and seem to be destined to be either worthless or overpowered or both (depending on early/late). Immortals/roaches/marauders don't fit the game and warp the balance soooo much.

The supply before rax change is beyond stupid. The fact they are changing game balance based on all-in strats is silly. They just need to stop making super small 2 player maps.

Im sad about supply before barracks but also glad less early options from terran cause there are just too many. Its nice if every race had options but its annoying when your opponent has all of them.

Only because some all-in strats have been nerfed the whole basic mechanics of Terran are changed? Why do you contradict yourself when you admit that it doesn't even touch any normal opening?

It would be bad to increase the building time of barracks because that would change ANY opening.

That was seriously a huge nerf, now 14 hatch is basically the new 12 hatch, so safe it seems.

the roach range should help a bit , until the buff the hydra though ZvP is still going be tough. and from the stats it clearly shows some problems in TvP, and this patch addresses none of that.

Does anyone else find it funny that Blizzard decreased Nitro Packs cost from 100/100 to 50/50 when no-one was using them and they've now put them at factory tech?

Also, if you're planning on going Reaper, why would you want to build a factory? Factory and reapers are completely unrelated and do not mingle in terms of build, why not put it at the engineering bay? ...

Probably because Blizz didn't like the factory having just three upgrades, that's also why they don't just remove 250MM cannon :/
I think esports is pretty nice.

Having 100 health that takes no bonus damage is almost no health. and they wreck Ultra, zerg air, banelings, hydralisks and workers. ghosts are very good TvZ and the lack of them is probably why i'm pretty close to undefeated in ZvT.
