I admit stuff is dying faster then I would expect/like and that Blizz may have under shot the difficulty a bit (I think NH, after the first set of nerfs was in a good place) but its so hard to judge given the gap between the top and the average mythic guild.
It ignores such insignificant forces as time, entropy, and death

Sure after first reset be good base to see. I mean i can see 5/11 being the core for most mythic guilds first reset.

They're also using ridiculous comps which are changing wildly boss to boss. ^ Those arent really that telling though. The bottom specs were bad the whole tier and most people who had the option just switched their main and abandoned the weaker tank. But yeah, even post nerf the utility of roar and massgrip just trumps any other (dis-)advantages of other specs.
It's funny to me that as soon as they went away from "soak this 5m personal swirly or raid wipes" the tier becomes too easy. And yeah coven is just stupid...

This raid is easier.

Scrubs dont raid casually. Never have, they formed out of the hardcore core of Shadow Riders on early TM + Show Spoiler +
(5 day guild when that was the norm,The guild Justwait used to lead before Method)
with the express purpose of raiding hardcore for the first release week/weeks. They are not a casual guild at all. And they have consistently over the years gotten more and more intense because they absorb/attract alot of people from semi hardcore guilds that want to push to the next level so they have a healthy funnel.

Certainly not Method/Russian level but they are in the slot right below that, which most normal people dont do.

Normal raiding now is 3 days a week.

Just finished my first ever raid on normal, mostly getting carried and trying not to die. There was a portion of it where you were given an ability to jump between three different platforms, how do I descend after reaching the location? I just keep floating while other ppl are already on the ground.

Also, I have a low ilvl t20 4p set that drops me from ilvl933 to 925, is it worth using or should I just stick with the higher level gear with the correct attributes?

Hoping they take a look at m+ dmg vs hp balance again ASAP, we're jumping into way higher gear now & damage scales way faster than health does. Scaling them both by the same exponential multipliers has repeatedly lead to balance being fine at a certain level on the lower end (5-10) but completely messed up at medium to high levels.

Two options atm:

A: (Level 15) - Blow up everything, tyrannical bosses dieing in under 90 seconds, multiple packs of mobs dieing in 5 seconds to aoe burst which brings in gameplay and class design issues

B: (18-20+) - Stuff lives for a good amount of time but there are a ton of mechanics like the slam on arcway zakuun guy which now oneshot the whole group with limited or even no counterplay. The point where oneshots everywhere prevent effective play is way lower than the point where time-to-kill on mobs is back where it should be for our higher gear levels

If it were changed to ~+7% damage, +10% health on enemies per level (instead of +10% multiplicative for both) then we'd be able to go about 3-5 levels higher on enemy health pools at the same incoming damage for ourselves and the balance would stay closer together across a wider range of levels

Imho tyrannical should not exist as an affix, but the 30% boss hp should just be baseline every week starting at like 15. Fortified can stay as it is but be every week. This way the weeks wouldnt be as polar and you could actually do high keys on (almost) every week rather than skip half of the time.
Some abilities could use rescaling too. High key DHT you run 20 minutes, then on xavius you might get unlucky and get oneshot because he targets you twice before prydaz is up and thats it for the run cause the key is now depleted. Hyrja is a complete shitshow at high keys, get unlucky, key gone. It will be even worse now as you said cause were getting waymore damage than HP.

As well as HP scaling being different from damage. We gain damage from gear far faster than HP so if enemies gain both at the same rate it'll imbalance quickly

Things that force you to slow down annoys me, no one wants to run in pull 3 mobs and then wait because bursting exists or bolstering exists as in pubs you don't get the people who can limit themselves from spamming AOE to get big dps numbers.

Last week doing 13 key with bursting was just impossible because players just spam AOE. I like thing like quaking and explosive even though the latter can be funny in pubs too when no one wants to kill the orbs! But that kinda mechanic makes sense, but bolstering and bursting are my pet peeves!

Haha yeah that is the answer for sure it just i don't offer anything other than my 12 hours i probs play WoW a week which is mostly on the weekend due to work/gym and watching footy commitments xD
I probs spend more time watching WoW streams than playing it cuz im weird :D

Never had a problem getting my keys done even with really bad pugs. If they insisted on killing 10 bursting mobs then I just made sure that I and the tank survived and let the DDs die. After some time they learned somewhat.

with the whole socialisation thing in vanilla

i'm playing vanilla right now and honestly, the best way i can describe it is i'm having a lot of *fun* - and it's just fun in a way that retail wow isn't

There's a whole host of reasons why that is, but i honestly think people will have an overall more fun time playing TBC and vanilla than retail

Essentially if you're a 5th healer, you're riding the bench unless someone can't make it or your spec/class is really amazing on the encounter. So I guess this guy was sick of riding the bench, so he sent his co-healers links, got their IP, and DDOS'd (sabotage) them to get into raids.
