I didn't remember hearing that release time but i didn't watch the two saturday panels. I am not hyped nor against it, if some section of gamers wanted it im glad they get a proper version instead of all the pirate servers. | ||

They didnt give a release time, I was AT the panel and then the Q & A where someone asked for a definite time. Aside from the long protracted joke about ice cream flavors there was nothing concrete about any of it. They will do it for sure, but timelines and what the finished product will look like was very vague. They dont really know themselves what they are going to do when it comes to details and they were pretty upfront about it. | ||

It feels bad to be doing 25% the HPS of more geared people. I was looking at the logs and there's so much information I don't really understand how to assess it. My ilvl performance was as high as 90 and as low as 18 so I guess one problem is consistency. What am I looking for to see how to improve? Cooldown utilization % and damage taken to mechanics? | ||

Its actually part of the reason why I stopped as a healer after 1 expansion. I didn't care for the fight over meters by other healers and my RL at the time. My job is to keep people alive and so long as I was doing that I was happy with it. | ||

Healing throughput simply isn't important unless your guild is explicitly trying to minimize the number of healers in order to maximize DPS. Otherwise throughput-oriented thinking is actively detrimental to your role (i.e. keeping everyone alive), as fighting with other healers doesn't accomplish anything other than wasting mana and CDs. | ||

Which is rare these days. Assignments and playing your role is all that matters. | ||

The difference between your gear level and top tier gear is probably >2x HPS potential your healing vs ilvl was good on some fights the ones where it was bad, you were sometimes running 4 healers when the appropriate number was ~2.5; over half of the healing done was overhealing despite healers being idle other than that, cooldown management. Lots of instances of important CD's going unused because you either had nothing to heal or did have stuff to heal but didn't use / coordinate them, whichever it was at the time | ||
