So hey, you miss the highmountain invasion on day 4 because it appeared when you're not home. It comes back around on day 8 and spawns 2 hours after you go to bed. Have somebody spam call you to wake you up? Wait another 4 days? Don't leave the house for more than 5 hours at a time until all invasions are done?
It just seems like it's designed to be unneccesarily awkward to gate people. They nailed invasions w/ the pre-expansion event and took one step forward, three steps back again
Got a bit unlucky this week as 3 of our keys in the core group ended in DHT 17/18 and we had to pull in other people, who werent at the top level. Still got rank 8 pala west I wanted to try out cathedral on 10 or higher whole week but didnt get around to it either, sadly.

They changed the wind mechanic so that the push has infinite range and increases in strength based on your distance from the boss so you have to alternate stacking on the boss for winds and spreading for the other mechanic
for some reason when i was doing the invasion event in aszuna i was x-realmed to ragnaros of all fucking servers, urgh. i do not enjoy playing on 250ms ping.
So Blizzard wanted to make the weekly chest give AP in "significant" amount to reduce the need to AP farm m+. And they have totally fucking failed in that. 6.5m AP from clearing a +17? What the hell, that's less than 1 day of clearing WQs, a daily HC and 1 M+.
Yeah, i got about 5.4m from doing a 14 which gave me over 2 mill in the dungeon itself (some due to mage tower). Was expecting double that based on other info which seemed plausible.
Cathedral definitely is very punishing. Some of the attacks just hit so much harder compared to the other dungeons. It also has an insane amount of trash. I've hit 100% usually by second boss every time. Hoping they tweak it some to have a little less trash since that takes up so much time (especially on fortified).
Problem with DHT was that it's a bit random and if you want to do it in time everything has to go right. The firstboss now does damage all around im when he goes bear so melees have to move out before that or they get oneshot. Thats a lot of dps lost. Then at dragon at 18 the down draft ticks for 1m so even if you arent getting pushed much when you stand below him you still have to heal that. But ofc the hardest is still the endboss. Bolts were hitting for 90% hp and if you get unlucky and he gets stacks while casting feed on the weak the bolts will just one shot. Overall its possible of course but we deemed it not worth the time and ran other keys instead. Im a bit sad we got no nelths at all. Could easily finish that at 20 i reckon and get another 90 points
This explosive affix is so dumb. Wtf im supposed to do them as spriest? I don't have any quick, usable nuke for 300kish dmg. Some teeming pulls can be like 7 mobs, 5 bombs spawn at once, wat do?

i got a nelth+15 key last week that i got lazy about, could've gotten KM ughhhhh
DHT has always been one of my least favorites to run. There's so much that can go wrong, especially if you're pugging. The trash is also pretty toxic, especially if you have something like teeming or raging.
It is better if you use some invis pots, but you have to pray you don't wipe on a boss.

Was always among my favorites together with MoS, NL and EoA. Have not done it since the patch. But yeah it has a decent chance of fail pulls with random groups. Though it is out long enough so that this is rather rare these days.
Explosive affix seems rather overtuned, as one could expect with this patch. Of course affix combination this week makes it even meaner. Although the orbs die pretty quickly, in random groups it can be pure terror. Just had one where I did more than twice the dmg on orbs while healing than the best dd. Only tank also did good dmg on them. I dont mind the mechanic per se, maybe there should just less be spawning with bigger groups or the cast time should be longer.
The dps challenge for shadow priest was really easy, but the holy challenge is kicking my ass fucking hardcore. Like wtf. Your own noob mobs in the last stage are killing each other so hard.
